Recording material transporting device and image reading apparatus comprising first and second reading units, using an endless transport belt having an inner peripheral surface with a greater coefficient of friction than an outer peripheral surface and generating airflow to bring the recording material in close contact with the transport belt
A recording material transporting device includes a transport belt having an endless shape and having an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface having a friction coefficient smaller than a friction coefficient of the inner peripheral surface. The transport belt transports a recording material by using the outer peripheral surface toward a reader that reads an image. The recording material transporting device further includes a driving roller that rotates while being in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the transport belt and that rotatably drives the transport belt.
Device for processing of flat elements and conveyor belt for use in such a device
A device for processing of flat elements, especially for the processing of paper blanks, is described. This device comprises a conveyor belt (25) that is guided over a first roller (12a) and a second roller (12b), said conveyor belt being made of metal and being permeable to air, wherein its upper section forms the transport section (25a) and its lower section forms the return section (25b), and a vacuum generator being located under the upper section of the conveyor belt. A laser (30) for cutting the flat elements is located above the transport section (25a). In order to achieve an improved flatness and an increased durability, the conveyor belt (25) consists of an expanded metal.
ADHESIVE SURFACES FOR PRINTING DEVICES
Disclosed herein is an adhesive belt for use in a printing device, a printing device, and a method of operating a printing device. The adhesive belt is to be placed around a conveyer belt of a printing device. The adhesive belt comprises a contact surface that is to come in contact with a print medium, wherein the contact surface comprises a dry adhesive material. The adhesive belt further comprises a fastener that is to open and close the adhesive belt by reversibly joining opposing end portions of the adhesive belt.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus includes an endless attraction member (200) attracting a sheet and rotating, and the attraction member (200) includes a plurality of electrode pattern areas. Each of the electrode pattern areas includes first and second electrodes (510 and 511) supplied the voltages from a power feed portion respectively. The electrode pattern areas are arrayed in the circumferential direction in such a manner that the electrode pattern areas are electrically insulated each other, and each circumferential direction length of the electrode pattern areas is set shorter than a circumferential direction length, between the power feed portion and the discharge portion, of the attraction member.
Transport device for paper, and paper processing device
Described is a transport device for paper which includes a metal conveyor belt through which air can flow and which is guided over at least two rollers, with the upper section of the belt forming the transport section and its lower section forming the returning section. A vacuum generator is arranged below the upper section. The conveyor belt is a metal mesh so as to be easy to produce and install.
Sheet detection circuit using electrical elements contacting conductive vacuum belt
Devices include electrically conductive elements contacting a vacuum belt, and a voltage source connected to the electrically conductive elements. The electrically conductive elements form an electrical circuit from the voltage source, through the belt, and back to the voltage source. The electrically conductive elements are positioned so that they are separated from the belt when the belt moves the sheets of media between the electrically conductive elements and the belt. A processor is capable of identifying leading edges of the sheets of media on the belt (when voltage of the electrical circuit changes from a relatively higher voltage to a relatively lower voltage) and identifying trailing edges of the sheets of media on the belt (when the voltage of the electrical circuit changes from the relatively lower voltage back to the relatively higher voltage).
CONVEYING APPARATUS WITH CONVEYANCE SURFACE FACING DOWNWARD
A conveying apparatus includes a conveyor and a conveyed object receptor. The conveyor includes a conveyance surface facing downward and configured to convey a conveyed object having a sheet-like shape. The conveyed object receptor is arranged below the conveyor and configured to receive the conveyed object having fallen from the conveyor.
ENDLESS BELT, BELT UNIT, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An endless belt includes a base material layer, the base material layer containing a polymer material and conductive particles, wherein in a section of the base material layer in a thickness direction, the conductive particles have an area ratio of 9.0% or more and 14.5% or less, an average value of areas of Delaunay triangles taking centers of gravity of the conductive particles as vertices is 0.10 μm.sup.2 or more and 0.90 μm.sup.2 or less, and a standard deviation of the areas is 0.010 μm.sup.2 or more and 0.080 μm.sup.2 or less.
RECORDING MATERIAL TRANSPORTING DEVICE AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A recording material transporting device includes a transport belt having an endless shape and having an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface having a friction coefficient smaller than a friction coefficient of the inner peripheral surface. The transport belt transports a recording material by using the outer peripheral surface toward a reader that reads an image. The recording material transporting device further includes a driving roller that rotates while being in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the transport belt and that rotatably drives the transport belt.
Conveying apparatus with conveyance surface facing downward
A conveying apparatus includes a conveyor and a conveyed object receptor.
