SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM
To provide a sheet processing system which can properly perform sorting processing of a plurality of kinds of sheets, while making each of a plurality of sheet processing apparatuses effectively operate.
A sheet processing system of an embodiment has a plurality of sheet processing apparatuses, a sorting apparatus, a storage unit, an information acquisition unit, and a controller. The plurality of sheet processing apparatuses each has a plurality of stackers for stacking sheets. The plurality of sheet processing apparatuses each sorts and stacks the sheets in the plurality of stackers. The plurality of sheet processing apparatuses each outputs information of a stacking status of the sheets in each of the plurality of stackers. The sorting apparatus sorts and feeds a sheet group formed of a plurality of the sheets to any of the plurality of sheet processing apparatuses. The storage unit stores the information of the stacking status of the sheets in each of the plurality of sheet processing apparatuses. The controller controls sorting of the sheet group by the sorting apparatus, based on the information of the sheet group which the information acquisition unit acquires, and the information of the stacking status of the sheets in the storage unit.
FEEDER DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FEEDING A STACK OF VALUE DOCUMENTS TO A SINGLER DEVICE, SINGLER MODULE AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING VALUE DOCUMENTS
A feeder device for feeding a stack of value documents to a singler device, and is configured to withdraw individual value documents from the stack. The feeder device includes a stop element having front and back sides; two lateral guide elements provided at the front side of the stop element and configured to guide the stack at two lateral sides of the stack towards the singler device; two support elements, on which the lateral guide elements are mounted; and two or more bearing elements by which the support elements are movably mounted on the stop element to allow the respective positions of the lateral guide elements and/or the distance of the lateral guide elements relative to each other to be changed. The invention further relates to an according method, a singler device, a singler module and a system for processing value documents.
Paper feeding device and paper feeding method
A paper feeding device 100 includes a support hook 5 that supports a lower edge of a front side of a bundle of stacked paper sheets X, and a paper trailing edge storing part 32 provided between a lower end of the abutting surface 31 and the paper feeding table 11, and the paper feeding device retracts the lowermost layer paper sheet of the loaded paper sheets so as to store its trailing edge in the paper trailing edge storing part 32 and then advance it.
COVER FEEDER AND METHOD FOR SUPPLYING BOOK COVERS
A cover feeder for providing book covers to a production unit of a book completion line includes a first receiving device for book covers of the same format, which can be positioned individually, in an overlapping flow and/or in a stack thereon, and a second receiving device that is arranged upstream of the first receiving device for a stack of book covers having different formats. The cover feeder includes a control unit to which information can be transmitted relating to the format and sequence of book covers in the stack of book covers having different formats, and a laterally adjustable centering device connected to the control unit for a defined lateral displacement and/or aligning of respectively one book cover that is separated out from the second receiving device and is positioned on the first receiving device.
AUTOLOADING SHINGLE FEEDER
An autoloading shingle feeder that singulates an associated stack of media into associated individual articles. The autoloading shingle feeder includes a housing including a base, at least one loading belt with a loading surface that defines a horizontally extending loading plane. The autoloading shingle feeder also includes at least one feeding belt that is distinct from the at least one loading belt and includes a feeding surface that defines a feeding plane. The autoloading shingle feeder also includes a carriage assembly that limits vertical movement of the associated individual article when the associated individual article moves from the at least one loading belt to the at least one feeding belt. The carriage assembly includes at least one separator plate including a pressure portion that linearly extends in the loading direction for direct sliding contact with the associated individual article.

Transport devices for a sheet-format substrate and method for transporting at least one sheet-format substrate
A transport device for a sheet-format substrate has at least one first substrate feed device and has at least one second substrate feed device. The at least one second substrate feed device comprises at least one forward stop and at least one singulating device. At least one substrate guiding device is arranged between the at least one first substrate feed device and the at least one second substrate feed device. The at least one substrate guiding device has at least one directing element. The at least one directing element is mounted such that it is movable or is moved in two different directions independently of one another.
TRANSPORT DEVICES FOR A SHEET-FORMAT SUBSTRATE AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING AT LEAST ONE SHEET-FORMAT SUBSTRATE

Device for feeding a sheet product
A device for feeding sheet products into a thick sheet feeding machine including an insertion gantry, a feed carriage sliding on rails. The device includes an insertion head configured as a gantry. The insertion head includes a crosspiece and support legs positioned on the rails and a system of suction cups located in the crosspiece through a forward movement mechanism allowing the system to move. The device includes an insertion module moving vertically on guides of the insertion gantry, a base for placing the sheets, and an alignment control device for aligning the sheets with respect to the insertion module. The sheets are suctioned by the suction cups, which are moved by the forward movement mechanism in the direction of the insertion gantry.
