REEL MADE OF MOLDED COMPONENTS
A composition for making a molded article such as a reel flange, and a method making the same, are provided. The composition may consist essentially of about 75-95 wt % dry waste wood and about 10-25 wt % binder such as melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) or PMUF resin. The waste wood may be recycled wood fiber from pine or other hardwoods, sawdust and wood chips. The method comprises mixing dry waste wood with MUF or PMUF resin binder to make a wood/resin mixture, and compressing the wood/resin mixture in a mold cavity at a pressure and temperature.

REEL FOR WINDING AND UNWINDING A LINK
The invention relates to a reel for a winder, comprising: a mandrel (10) extending around an axis of rotation (X) of the reel, a plurality of pairs of lateral arms (20a, 20b) extending on both sides of the mandrel (10), together acting as flanks defining, between them, a winding volume for the link, said reel being characterised in that it comprises a closed flange (40) attached to the arms (20a) constituting one of said flanks, said flange having a thickness of between 10 and 40 mm.

Method for making a reel assembly of a tie-down
A method is executed to make a reel assembly of a tie-down. The method includes the steps of providing a ratchet with teeth and slots, providing a spool with protuberances, connecting the ratchet to the spool by inserting the protuberances of the ratchets in the slots of the spool, and enhancing the connection of the ratchet to the spool.

REEL ASSEMBLY MACHINE
A reel assembly machine for assembling a bottom flange and a top flange to a reel core of a reel includes a lower assembly device including a support plate for supporting the bottom flange of the reel. The lower assembly device includes a locating jig for positioning the bottom flange on the support plate. The lower assembly device includes a lower staple gun configured to staple the bottom flange to the reel core. The reel assembly machine includes an upper assembly device including a pressure plate configured to press against the top flange and hold the reel core between the bottom flange and the top flange. The upper assembly device includes an upper staple gun configured to staple the top flange to the reel core.
Protective barrier coating for tubes and cores
A paperboard carrier suitable for use with textiles may include one or more strips of paperboard secured together to form a hollow tubular body, the body having an outer surface, and a coating covering some or all of the outer surface. The coating comprises a coating agent such as a silicon resin dispersed in a solvent such as isopropyl alcohol and little or no water. The coating may be applied to the outer surface by using a plurality spray nozzles arranged axially or circumferentially about the carrier.
FRICTION SHAFT FOR SLITTER
Proposed is a friction shaft for a slitter that enables a winding pipe to stably roll unit materials formed by cutting a raw material, such as a raw fabric or film, with predetermined intervals, that can fix the rolling pipe even at a low pressure of compressed air, and that has a wide range of available rolling tension because the pressure range of compressed air that can adjust winding torque is wide.
