An elevator system includes a hoistway and an elevator car suspended in the hoistway via a suspension member and drivable along the hoistway. The elevator car includes an elevator car panel and a battery pocket positioned in the elevator car panel. A battery is removably positioned in the battery pocket. The battery and the battery pocket are configured such that inspection, maintenance and/or repair of the battery is performed without entry into the hoistway of the elevator system. A method of servicing an elevator system includes driving an elevator car along a hoistway and stopping the elevator car near a selected elevator landing floor. A battery is at least partially removed from a battery pocket at the elevator car via a technician located at the selected elevator landing floor for inspection, maintenance, replacement and/or repair.

DUEL SOURCE LIGHT SYSTEM

Elevator systems, methods, and devices comprising dual source light systems are described herein. Such elevator systems may be associated with or located within wind turbines and wind turbine towers. In embodiments, an elevator cabin may comprise a dual source light system further comprising at least one light source, a supercapacitor unit, an electronic circuit electrically connected to the at least one light source and the supercapacitor, and a housing unit. The dual source light system can receive energy from an external power source, convert one or more characteristics of the energy, e.g., voltage or current, and distribute the energy to the at least one light source. Any excess energy can be used to charge the supercapacitor such that when energy from the external power source is insufficient to power the at least one light source, such as during an outage, the electronic circuit draws energy from the charged supercapacitor.

DISINFECTION SYSTEM AND ELEVATOR EQUIPMENT HAVING THE SAME

A disinfection system includes an ultraviolet disinfecting light, a controlling device, and an ultraviolet detecting device. The ultraviolet disinfecting light can be turned on or off under control. The controlling device controls the ultraviolet disinfecting light to be turned on or off. The ultraviolet detecting device is signally connected to the controlling device and is for detecting an intensity of the ultraviolet rays emitted by the ultraviolet disinfecting light. The controlling device controls the ultraviolet disinfecting light to increase an ultraviolet radiation dose of the ultraviolet rays emitted by the ultraviolet disinfecting light after the ultraviolet disinfecting light is turned on and the intensity of the ultraviolet rays is less than a predetermined intensity. An elevator equipment includes a car, a lift control device, and the disinfection system. In this way, the space can be disinfected with the ultraviolet rays to avoid insufficient disinfection effect.

Temporary and emergency elevator interior lighting assembly
11274018 · 2022-03-15 · ·

Elevator interior lighting provided by a temporary LED light fixture and power supply installed on or adjacent an elevator canopy. The temporary LED power supply comprises an LED driver and an emergency LED power supply. The LED driver connects to LEDs of the temporary LED light fixture and supplies sufficient power to provide code-compliant temporary lighting in the cab. The emergency LED power supply module connects to one or more emergency LEDs and supplies sufficient power to provide code-compliant emergency lighting in the cab upon loss of primary electrical power. To minimize costs when converting to permanent lighting, additional LED light fixtures can be added and connected to the same temporary LED power supply, and the emergency LED power module may be relocated into a down light power supply to power two or more down lights in the event of a loss of primary electrical power.

Method for controlling an elevator lighting and an elevator

The elevator comprising a car moving upwards and downwards in a well, a controller controlling the elevator, and a well lighting. The method comprises detecting a manual unlocking or a manual opening of a landing door, activating the well lighting automatically when the controller detects a manual unlocking or a manual opening of a landing door.

Elevator Access Control System
