Door detection system and method
In an embodiment, a door detection system may include a transmitter, a receiver, a reflector, and one or more processors. The transmitter positioned on an elevator car door transmits a signal towards a reflector on a hoistway door and the reflector reflects the signal towards the receiver when the hoistway door is properly positioned with respect to the elevator door. The one or more processors determine whether the hoistway door is properly positioned with respect to the elevator car door based on the reflected signal received by the receiver. If the hoistway door is not properly positioned, the elevator car is prevented from moving. If the hoistway door is properly positioned, the elevator car is free to move.

SYSTEM FOR LIFTING PERSONS ONTO PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT
The present disclosure is directed to a system for lifting one or more persons, such as a person having a mobility restriction, from a first level to a second level, such as onto a raised level of a play structure. In some embodiments, the system may also be configured so that an able-bodied person may enter and exit the platform even while the platform is being raised or lowered. In this way, the system may also comprise a play element by which able-bodied children are provided with a continuous play pathway. In some embodiments, the system is configured so that the platform rotates, thereby providing a fun experience that may be shared by persons having mobility restrictions and able-bodied persons.
ELEVATOR DOOR INTERLOCK ASSEMBLY
A novel elevator door interlock assembly configured for use in an elevator having a swing door is provided. The elevator door interlock further configured to enable use of the elevator and disable use of the elevator. The novel elevator door interlock including a mounting plate configured for attachment to a surface of a swing door frame. An interlock module is attached to the mounting plate and configured to facilitate locking and unlocking of the swing door. A latch bracket is attached to the swing door and configured for insertion into a cavity formed within the interlock module. The combination of the mounting plate and the interlock module have a maximum thickness of 0.75 inches.

DOOR SYSTEM FOR AN ELEVATOR CAR, ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EVACUATING AN ELEVATOR CAR
A door system for an elevator car includes: at least one door leaf for closing a partial region of a car opening of the elevator car; and a mounting device that mounts the door leaf on the car slidably in a direction of a sliding axis between an open position, in which the door leaf releases the partial region, and a closed position, in which the door leaf closes the partial region, and additionally mounts rotatably about a rotation axis so that the door leaf, when slid into the closed position and/or into an intermediate position between the open position and the closed position, can be rotated into an emergency open position in which the car opening is released to an extent that the can be evacuated via the car opening.
