An illustrative example elevator sill assembly includes a sill plate and at least one support arm secured to the sill plate. A mounting bracket is configured to be mounted to an elevator car. The support arm is supported on the mounting bracket to allow the support arm to pivot relative to the mounting bracket. At least one linear actuator has a moving portion that moves in a vertical direction to cause the at least one support arm to pivot relative to the mounting bracket to thereby cause the sill plate to pivot from a stored position to an actuated position.

Blocking assembly, elevator system

A blocking assembly for a leaf of an elevator door includes a translation guide, a first leaf carriage mounted slidably to the translation guide between a first position and a second position, a latch connected to the translation guide and rotatable between a blocking configuration of the first leaf carriage in an intermediate position wherein the latch intercepts and blocks the carriage against the guide, and a configuration for releasing the carriage wherein the carriage is free to slide to the second position, latch return in the blocking configuration, and first coupling connected to the first leaf carriage and to the latch. When the carriage is in the first position, the first coupling is coupled together to keep the latch in the release configuration, in contrast to the action of the return. When the carriage is in the intermediate position, the first coupling is uncoupled so that the latch is moved by the return into the blocking configuration.

The support arm is supported on the mounting bracket to allow the support arm to pivot relative to the mounting bracket. At least one actuator arm has a portion configured to be contacted by a door of the elevator car to cause movement of the actuator arm relative to the mounting bracket as the door moves into an open position. The movement of the actuator arm causes the support arm to pivot relative to the mounting bracket to thereby cause the sill plate to pivot from a stored position to an actuated position.

Blocking device

A blocking device (2) for blocking access to an door unlocking device (118) of an elevator system (102) comprises: an outer element (4), which is introducible into an access opening (30) providing access to the door unlocking device (118); and an inner element (6), which is introducible into the outer element (4). The inner element (6) is configured for bringing the blocking device (2) into a fixing configuration, in which the outer element (4) is fixedly engaged with the access opening (30), by introducing the inner element (6) into the outer element (4).

Elevator landing door unlocking system

Elevator landing door lock assemblies and elevator landing doors having a lock with a keyway accessible from a landing of an elevator system, the lock operable to lock and unlock a landing door and a disengageable link operably connected to the lock and configured to prevent unlocking of the landing door when the disengageable link is not engaged. When an elevator car is aligned with the landing door, the disengageble link is engaged and completed such that the lock is operable to unlock and open the landing door, and, when an elevator car is not aligned with the landing door, the lock is not operable.
