Disclosed in an embodiment is a light source comprising: a housing; a coupling unit which fixes the housing on the target structure; a light source module for emitting light onto the target structure; and a power source module which supplies power to the light source module. The light source module comprises: a first circuit board; a second circuit board disposed on one side of the first circuit board; a third circuit board disposed on another side of the first circuit board; at least one first ultraviolet light emitting element disposed on one surface of the first circuit board; at least one second ultraviolet light emitting element disposed on one surface of the second circuit board; and at least one third ultraviolet light emitting element disposed on one surface of the third circuit board, wherein one surface of the second circuit board and one surface of the third circuit are disposed so as to face each other.

A passenger transport system having a conveyor belt is described. The passenger transport system comprises at least one handrail and a fastening device for a protective device in the region of the handrail end curve. A control unit blocks the operation of the passenger transport system in one direction of travel on the basis of a sensor signal, such that, if there is at least one protective device in the region of the handrail end curve, the direction of travel in which the handrail runs into the protective device is blocked. A method for controlling a bidirectional passenger transport system is also described.

A passenger transport system having a conveyor belt is described. The passenger transport system comprises at least one handrail and a fastening device for a protective device in the region of the handrail end curve. A control unit blocks the operation of the passenger transport system in one direction of travel on the basis of a sensor signal, such that, if there is at least one protective device in the region of the handrail end curve, the direction of travel in which the handrail runs into the protective device is blocked. The device monitors a force application upon a base plate of the passenger transport system along a gap formed between a transport band of the passenger transport system and the base plate. The device includes a mounting structure, at least one elongate belt, and a force sensor. The mounting structure is configured for the installation of the device in a base plate region of the passenger transport system adjacent to a transport region. A belt is functionally connected to the mounting structure and extends parallel to at least a portion of the traveling path. The force sensor is functionally connected to the belt and configured for detecting a force exerted upon the mounting structure by the belt in a direction of displacement extending parallel to the traveling path.

MONITORED ESCALATOR BARRICADE SYSTEM
A monitored escalator barricade system is disclosed herein having a barricade assembly including a hosting column supporting a one-way swinging door and a magnetic locking mechanism. The barricade assembly is installable at a landing floor and allows for one-way passage of a user riding along an outer edge of an escalator in order to prevent injuries. The barricade assembly utilizes IR beam transmitters on an exterior of the hosting column to detect when a user arrives near the landing floor and unlock the one-way swinging door as the user approaches. The monitored escalator barricade system includes various visual and audio indicators for notifying authorities.
