The systems include an elevator car movable within an elevator shaft, the elevator car includes an elevator car door interlock device operable to open and close elevator car doors, a plurality of landing doors located at respective landings along the elevator shaft, wherein each landing door includes a landing door interlock device operable to open and close a respective landing door, wherein each landing door interlock device is engageable by the elevator car door interlock device to enable operation of the elevator car doors and the respective landing door simultaneously. An elevator component inspection system is configured with a detector located on the top of the elevator car and arranged to monitor the interlock devices, wherein the detector obtains inspection data associated with the elevator car door interlock device and the plurality of landing door interlock devices.
Elevator system roping arrangement
An elevator system includes an elevator car. A first drive assembly engages a first tension member. The first tension member is coupled to the elevator car and to a first counterweight. A second drive assembly engages a second tension member. The second tension member is coupled to the elevator car and to a second counterweight. The first tension member can be coupled to the elevator car at a first position and the second tension member can be coupled to the elevator car at a second position opposite the first position.
Arrangement for the allocation of destination calls
The invention refers to an arrangement for the allocation of destination calls in an elevator system with at least two elevators, comprising a wireless transmitter device connected with an allocation control of the elevator system. The transmitter device interacts within a certain mutual distance with a wireless ID device carried by a passenger, which ID device is configured to transmit to the transmitter device an ID which is linked with a special transportation service in the elevator system. The elevator system comprises a memory with correlated operation parameters of the elevators which are linked to the particular special transportation service request of the ID device, whereby the ID device is configured to transmit ID data and/or a call with a departure floor and destination floor to the allocation control. The transmitter device is located within a transmitter accommodation space located at least in the vicinity of an elevator, whereby the transmitter device is located in the vicinity of a tag carrying a symbol correlated to the special transportation service.
METHOD FOR ERECTING AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION
A method for centering a self-propelled elevator car in an elevator installation, the car having at least two driven friction wheels pressed against each of two opposing guide surfaces of a first and second guide rail strands to drive the car along a travel path, the method including independently adjusting a first rotational speed of the friction wheels acting on the first guide rail strand and a second rotational speed of the friction wheels acting on the second guide rail strand. In a centered state, a center of the car is located on a center plane extending in parallel with the first and second guide rail strands, and when a deviation of the car center from the center plane is detected, the first rotational speed and/or the second rotational speed is changed such that, when the car moves along the travel path, the car center moves toward the center plane.
ELEVATOR AND ESCALATOR MONITORING ARRANGEMENT
A user interface shows status of devices of an elevator and escalator arrangement. The status is based on holistic measurement approach wherein measurements for one or more indicator values are made continuously and compared against reference values. The difference between the measured and reference values are shown in a user interface for indicating that status of individual components and the overall system.
Emergency monitoring systems for elevators
Elevator systems and methods for displaying information associated with the elevator systems. The systems including an elevator car located within an elevator shaft, a display located within the elevator car, and an elevator emergency monitoring system having an elevator shaft monitoring device mounted on the elevator car and configured to capture an image of the elevator shaft. The elevator car is operable in an emergency mode of operation such that an image captured by the elevator shaft monitoring device is displayed on the display within the elevator car.
VIBRATION MONITORING BEACON MODE DETECTION AND TRANSITION
According to an aspect, a method includes monitoring a plurality of vibration data by a vibration monitoring beacon and determining that the vibration monitoring beacon has been installed at a service location based on detecting an installation characteristic signature in the vibration data. The vibration monitoring beacon can transition into a learning mode based on determining that the vibration monitoring beacon has been installed at the service location. The method can also include monitoring for a learning mode termination event and transitioning the vibration monitoring beacon from the learning mode to a normal operation mode based on detecting the learning mode termination event.
Dynamic multi-hoist leveling control system
A system structured to transport a load carrying structure along the vertical direction while maintaining a substantially horizontal orientation thereof. A lifting assembly includes at least one lifting devices movably connected to the load carrying structure via a corresponding hoist line. The lifting device is configured to control the hoist line to accomplish raising or lowering of the load caring structure. A detection assembly, including at least one inclinometer determines an angle of inclination of the load carrying structure during the vertical travel thereof. A control assembly is operatively associated with the lifting assembly and the detection assembly to adjust the operative speed of the lifting device and length of the hoisting line upon a determination of an angle of inclination of the load carrying structure deviating from a predetermined angle of inclination indicative of a level orientation of the load carrying structure.
Health monitoring systems and methods for elevator systems
Methods and systems for monitoring a dynamic compensation control system of an elevator system are provided. The methods and systems include monitoring a first motion state sensor signal generated by a first motion state sensor, the first motion state sensor associated with an elevator machine, monitoring a second motion state sensor signal generated by a second motion state sensor, the second motion state sensor located on an elevator car, determining an operational status of the second motion state sensor based on an analysis of the first motion state sensor signal and the second motion state sensor signal, and when it is determined that a failure status of the second motion state sensor is present, the method further comprises deactivating a dynamic compensation control mode of operation of the elevator system.
GROUNDING ASSEMBLIES FOR AN ELEVATOR ASSEMBLY
Embodiments herein are directed to an electrical assembly for grounding an elevator assembly, the elevator assembly having an elevator cab, a grounded elevator frame, a sheave, and a suspension member having conductive members and a sleeve enclosing the conductive members. The suspension member extends around the sheave to support the elevator cab. The electrical assembly includes a bracket and a grounding member. The grounding member is electrically coupled to the sheave such that contact with the sheave forms an electrical ground path between the sheave through the grounding member and the bracket, and into the grounded elevator frame. When the sheave rotates the suspension member, any portion of the conductive members from the suspension member making contact with the sheave grounds the sheave to the grounded elevator frame via the electrical ground path.
