ADJUSTABLE HANDRAIL SYSTEM FOR A TOP OF AN ELEVATOR CAR AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING
An adjustable handrail system for a top region of an elevator car includes a first stationary post fixed to a top surface of the elevator car and extending upwardly therefrom along a first longitudinal axis. Also included is a second stationary post fixed to the top surface of the elevator car and extending upwardly therefrom along a second longitudinal axis, the first and second stationary posts spaced from each other and oriented parallel to each other. Further included is an adjustable handrail panel translatable between a first position and a second position, the adjustable handrail panel operatively coupled to the first stationary post and the second stationary post and translatable perpendicularly relative to the first and second longitudinal axes and parallel to the top surface of the elevator car.
SYSTEM TO ENABLE ACCESS TO TRAVELLING CABLE DEAD END HITCH FROM INSIDE AN ELEVATOR CAR
A travelling cable end hitch and rail arrangement for an elevator system includes a rail assembly fixed to an elevator car of the elevator system, a movable device positioned at and movable along the rail assembly, and an end hitch portion of a travelling cable of the elevator system secured to the movable device and movable with the movable device along the rail assembly. A method of accessing a travelling cable end hitch of an elevator system includes accessing a travelling cable from inside of an elevator car, pulling the travelling cable upward from inside of the elevator car, moving an end hitch portion of the travelling cable along a rail assembly secured to a bottom of the elevator car via pulling the travelling cable upward, and inspecting the end hitch portion from inside the elevator car when the end hitch portion reaches a first end of the rail assembly.
Heavy load elevator installation platform capable of stretching and retracting steplessly
A heavy load elevator installation platform capable of stretching and retracting steplessly, which includes an upper beam assembly and a lower beam assembly that can realize stepless stretching and retracting. The upper beam assembly includes an upper beam left C steel, upper beam middle C steel, and upper beam right C steel connected end to end in sequence. A plurality of long holes formed at an inclined included angle with the horizontal are formed in the inner side walls of each of the upper beam left C steel and the upper beam right C steel. A plurality of long holes are respectively formed in the two side surfaces, facing the upper beam left C steel and the upper beam right C steel, of the upper beam middle C steel. The structure of the lower beam assembly is the same as that of the upper beam assembly.
CONTROLLER FOR CONTROLLING AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM IN AN INSPECTION MODE, AND ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A control device controls an elevator system in inspection mode, the elevator system having a safety circuit with at least one safety contact that is open in inspection mode and an inspection path for bridging the safety contact. The control device includes first and second operating elements for controlling the inspection mode and first and second switching units connected in parallel and each having a contact associated with a delay means. The switching units close and open their contacts in response to actuation and release of the first and second operating elements respectively. The contacts are series connected in the inspection path. The first and second delay means delay opening of the associated contacts by defined delay times after the release of the first and operating element respectively.
Elevator arrangement to open the roof of an elevator car
The invention relates to an elevator arrangement comprising an elevator with a control system, and an inspection or maintenance mode, which elevator further comprises an elevator car arranged to run up and down in an elevator shaft along its guide rails, and which elevator car is equipped with a roof and a car operating panel. The arrangement comprises actuating means to open the roof of the elevator car, which actuating means are operatively connected to the car operating panel of the elevator.
Detecting elevator mechanics in elevator systems
Embodiments include a method and system for detecting mechanics in an elevator system. The system includes a controller configured to communicate with one or more anchors, and a tag configured to transmit a signal, wherein the signal includes an identifier and location information. The system also includes one or more anchors, wherein the one or more anchors are configured to detect the signal from the tag, wherein the controller is configured to execute a safety action response to detecting the signal from the tag.
Maintenance of passenger carrying system
The present invention relates to maintenance of a passenger transport system. An apparatus for maintaining a passenger transport system according to the present invention includes a wireless beacon and a personal mobile terminal. The wireless beacon is mounted substantially at a registration entrance for entering the passenger transport system to perform a maintenance operation and configured to broadcast a wireless signal to the surrounding area. The personal mobile terminal is carried by the maintenance operator and configured to sense the wireless signal when the maintenance operator approaches the wireless beacon. At least one of the wireless beacon and the personal mobile terminal is configured to automatically generate and send, based on successful sensing of the wireless signal by the personal mobile terminal, maintenance register information indicating that the corresponding maintenance operator has checked into a maintenance operation process. The present invention can significantly simplify the check-in operation.
Elevator display systems
Elevator cars are provided herein. The elevator cars include a wall panel defining part of a passenger space of the elevator car, two or more receiving rails arranged on an exterior of the wall panel, and an elevator display system having a viewing panel and an enclosure housing a display screen. The viewing panel is mounted to the wall panel on an interior of the wall panel and the enclosure is engageable with the receiving rails on the exterior of the wall panel such that the display screen is movably positioned relative to the viewing panel to be viewable from within the passenger space in an installed position.
METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELEVATOR FOR AN INSPECTION
A method for operating an elevator having a car, a drive engine, shaft doors, signal receptors, an engine controller and a door controller. Each of the shaft doors is reciprocally opened and closed by an associated active door drive and has one of the signal receptors thereat. The method includes: receiving a requesting signal at one of the signal receptors; responding to the requesting signal by instructing the engine controller to control the drive engine to displace the car to a first position with the car roof adjacent to the shaft door at the floor from which the requesting signal originated when that floor is not the lowermost floor, and when the floor is the lowermost floor to a second position above the lowermost floor; instructing the door controller to control the door drive to actively open the door; and switching the engine controller to an inspection mode.
