ELEVATOR CAR, ELEVATOR AND METHOD
An elevator car includes a roof deck; a plurality of walls; a floor; one or more doors; and a transport space bordered by the roof deck, the plurality of walls, the floor, and at least one openable and closable door for allowing access to said transport space. The roof deck is vertically movable from a first normal use position upwards to a second cargo use position for increasing the height of the transport space, and from the second position downwards back to the first position for reducing the height of the transport space. An elevator and a method implementing the elevator car are also disclosed.
Elevator car
An elevator car has a pivotable balustrade mounted on a roof of the elevator car and which can be pivoted between a folded-down position and an erected position. To secure the erected position, the balustrade has a locking mechanism by which the balustrade can be locked via a latching connection during a pivoting movement to produce the erected position. The balustrade includes a two-part post with a lower post part and an upper post part, the upper post part being pivotably fastened to the lower post part and on which the locking mechanism is arranged. A latching element of the locking mechanism is mounted vertically on the lower post part so as to be displaceable to a limited degree. The locking mechanism further has an actuating element in the form of a foot pedal or a lever for unlocking the locking position.
ELEVATOR CAR
An elevator car has a balustrade arranged on a roof of the elevator car, wherein the balustrade includes posts, that are attached on a horizontal upper side of the roof, and post-connecting crossmembers. For each post, a docking element is arranged on the upper side of the roof, and the post can be docked on the docking element. The docking element has form-fitting elements in the form of fingers for accommodating the post in a form-fitting manner and the post has slots or apertures, that are complementary to the fingers, the fingers engaging in the slots or the apertures. The docking element is a flattened component made up of two stacked plates and is screwed to the roof. The balustrade is secured by obliquely running supporting profiles extending between the handrail and the roof.
ELEVATOR CAR WITH MOVING EMERGENCY STOP DEVICE
An elevator car (2) includes a roof (4) and an emergency stop device (6) mounted on the roof (4). The emergency stop device (6) is mounted to move between a first position (8) on the roof (4) during a normal operation mode and a second, different position on the roof (4) during an inspection mode. For example, the emergency stop device (6) is movably mounted to a safety balustrade (12) installed on the roof (4). A safety volume (30) may therefore be positioned to align better with a maintenance area (22) on the roof.
Elevator safety arrangement and elevator
The invention relates to an elevator safety arrangement comprising a hoistway; an elevator car mounted in the hoistway; a working platform on top of the elevator car; at least one movable balustrade, which is movable between a substantially upright position and a substantially horizontal position; and a sensing arrangement for sensing position of the movable balustrade, said sensing arrangement for sensing position of the movable balustrade comprising at least one sensor for sensing position of the balustrade. Said at least one sensor for sensing position of the balustrade comprises a sensor body and a sensor head, and the sensor head is movable relative to the sensor body, and the balustrade is arranged to move the sensor head when pivoted, the balustrade comprising a cam member pivotal together with the balustrade, the cam member comprising one or more protrusions and depressions, and the sensor head is placed against the cam member for being actuated by aid of at least one protrusion and at least one depression of the cam member.
Safety element of an elevator system
An elevator system includes a car which can move in an elevator shaft and has a car roof which has a walkable region. A safety element is arranged in the region of a roof edge of the car roof for reducing the gap between the elevator shaft wall and the car in order to protect people from falling into the elevator shaft. The safety element has a toe board section for creating a toe protection and for laterally bordering the walkable region, wherein the toe board section is arranged such that it is inwardly offset in relation to an outer edge of the safety element and in relation to the roof edge by a safety distance.
Elevator car with a foldable balustrade and control device for an elevator installation having such an elevator car
An elevator car has at least one balustrade attached to a roof of the elevator car, which balustrade can be pivoted about a rotation axis between a folded-down position, in which the balustrade is arranged essentially horizontally, and a raised position, in which the balustrade is arranged essentially vertically. The balustrade is mechanically coupled to a 3-state switch, which switch can adopt three different switching states. The balustrade and the 3-state switch thus cooperate such that the 3-state switch adopts a first switching state when the balustrade is in the folded-down position, the 3-state switch adopts a second switching state when the balustrade is in the raised position, and the 3-state switch adopts a third switching state when the balustrade is in neither the folded-down position nor the raised position.
HANDRAIL ASSEMBLY, CAR AND ELEVATOR
A handrail assembly, a car and an elevator. The handrail assembly includes a fixing portion and a moving portion, the fixing portion comprises a plurality of first vertical posts arranged in a vertical direction, wherein the first vertical posts are configured to be hollow; the moving portion comprises: a plurality of lifting portions each comprising a plurality of second vertical posts movable into the first vertical posts and horizontal posts attached between the second vertical posts, wherein each lifting portion is configured to move at least between the extended position and the retracted position, the horizontal post is adjacent to the fixing portion when in the retracted position, and the horizontal post is away from the fixing portion when in the extended position; a limiting component to make each lifting portion ascend or descend in sequence in the vertical direction; and a sensing mechanism.
ADDITIONAL PLATFORM FOR A WORKING PLATFORM
A working device for carrying out fitting or maintenance work in an elevator shaft includes at least one working platform having a standing surface and a railing. The standing surface affords space for at least one person and the railing at least partially encloses the standing surface. The working device also includes at least one additional platform that is attachable to the railing of the working platform, and wherein the additional platform affords an additional standing surface for at least one person. The additional standing surface is arranged above the railing of the working platform.
GUARDRAIL SYSTEM
An elevator car (102) including at least one barrier (110) extending from an external surface (106, 108) of the elevator car (102). The elevator car (102) further includes a switch (208) connectable in series with a safety chain circuit. The at least one barrier (110) is configured to be displaced from a first position (202) to a second position (204) upon contact with an object (120), such that the displacement to the second position (204) opens the switch (208) to initiate an emergency stop procedure of the elevator car (102).
