This application relates to a method and an apparatus for monitoring a state of a passenger transport system such as, for example, an escalator. The method includes monitoring the state of the passenger transport system using an updated digital double data record that reflects characterizing properties of components of the passenger transport system in an actual configuration of the passenger transport system in a machine-processable manner after the assembly and installation thereof in a building. The updated digital double data record can be obtained, for example, by accurately surveying the passenger transport system and using signal values from sensors housed in the passenger transport system, and allows conclusions as to the present or future state of the passenger transport system, based on which maintenance measures can be planned efficiently and adequately.

Elevator car, elevator and method

An elevator car includes a roof deck; a plurality of walls; a floor; one or more doors; and a transport space bordered by the roof deck, the plurality of walls, the floor, and at least one openable and closable door for allowing access to said transport space. The roof deck is vertically movable from a first normal use position upwards to a second cargo use position for increasing the height of the transport space, and from the second position downwards back to the first position for reducing the height of the transport space. An elevator and a method implementing the elevator car are also disclosed.

The remote triggering device includes: an actuator seat mounted on a fixed bracket and rotatable between a first position and a second position; an actuator disposed on the actuator seat and having an action end movable between a retracted position and an extended position; and a reset lever extending from the actuator seat; wherein in a case that the centrifugal mechanism of the overspeed governor assembly rotates in a first direction corresponding to ascending of an elevator car, when the action end of the actuator moves to the extended position, the centrifugal mechanism of the overspeed governor assembly contacts the action end of the actuator and drives the actuator seat to rotate from the first position toward the second position, and the reset lever rotates with the actuator seat.

The control device includes first and second operating elements for controlling the inspection mode and first and second switching units connected in parallel and each having a contact associated with a delay means. The switching units close and open their contacts in response to actuation and release of the first and second operating elements respectively. The contacts are series connected in the inspection path. The first and second delay means delay opening of the associated contacts by defined delay times after the release of the first and operating element respectively.
