An evacuation strategy support system using an occupant evacuation elevator (OEE) capable of supporting an evacuation strategy so that information on a number of occupants is recognized by real-time occupant monitoring and thus occupants on each floor may use stairs and the occupant evacuation elevator to safely and quickly evacuate when a disaster situation occurs in a skyscraper and thus the occupants use the occupant evacuation elevator to evacuate, capable of monitoring occupant information on each floor in real time and supporting calculation of an evacuation capacity of the occupant evacuation elevator to establish an evacuation strategy to allow safe evacuation and early reaction in an overall skyscraper to be performed, and capable of optimizing the calculation of the evacuation capacity of the occupant evacuation elevator applicable to an initial stage of a design of the skyscraper, and a method thereof are provided.

Elevator systems and methods for displaying information associated with the elevator systems. The systems including an elevator car located within an elevator shaft, a display located within the elevator car, and an elevator emergency monitoring system having an elevator shaft monitoring device mounted on the elevator car and configured to capture an image of the elevator shaft. The elevator car is operable in an emergency mode of operation such that an image captured by the elevator shaft monitoring device is displayed on the display within the elevator car.

A high rise structure multi-level delivery system comprises a vertical conveyor belt system having a plurality of trays configured to carry a specific delivery parcel to a specific floor of a high rise structure. The conveyor is mounted such that a bottom of the conveyor resides in a ground floor room of the high rise structure and a top resides in a roof room on a roof of the high rise structure. The conveyor is capable of being accessed via an interior room located at each level of the high rise structure.

The system includes a device to detect an incident or a device to receive an emergency signal in this regard, a device for determining the floor of this incident, and at least one sealing element (positioned in the elevator shaft and constructed to seal the elevator shaft, so that the elevator shaft is divided in at least two sections.

Disclosed is an elevator system having a first sensor in communication with an elevator in a multi-level hoistway, wherein during an emergency the elevator instructs the first sensor to sense conditions and transmit sensor data representing the sensed conditions, and the transmitted sensor data is processed to obtain an image representing an intensity of hazard conditions on at least a subset of levels serviced by the multilevel hoistway.

A method of operating a multi-car elevator system for a fire service sequence including the steps of: controlling, using a control system, a plurality of components of the multi-car elevator system, the controlling includes operating at least one of a first elevator car and a second elevator in at least one elevator lane; confirming the first elevator car is free of occupants; moving the first elevator car to a parking area; and confirming the second elevator car is free of occupants.

An elevator device that can continuously evacuate any evacuee left in a building by using an elevator. An elevator system includes: key switches, provided at a hall, used in an evacuation operation to select either a shuttle operation request mode requesting a car to shuttle between an evacuation floor and a rescue floor, or an evacuation completion mode indicating completion of evacuation; a first notification mechanism provided in the car; and an elevator controller switching between normal operation and the evacuation operation, determining, in a case at least one of the key switches is switched to the evacuation operation, that a floor at a hall whose key switch is in the shuttle operation mode is a rescue floor and a floor at a hall whose key switch is in the evacuation completion mode is an evacuation completion floor, and making, in a case a hall button provided at the hall of the evacuation completion floor is operated, the first notification mechanism notify of the evacuation completion floor.

A safety inspection system of an occupant evacuation elevator capable of having a laser range finder installed on each of an elevator rope and an elevator guide rail of the occupant evacuation elevator of a skyscraper and checking a length and verticality of each of the elevator rope and the elevator guide rail measured from the laser range finder to monitor slight distortion or location variation in real time, and accordingly, capable of easily performing a safety inspection of the occupant evacuation elevator, capable of performing the safety inspection of the occupant evacuation elevator in real time to operate the occupant evacuation elevator again in an operation mode of the occupant evacuation elevator according to an occurrence of a disaster situation in the skyscraper, and accordingly, capable of safely and quickly evacuating occupants and a method thereof are provided.

An elevator communication system includes an elevator communication network configured to carry elevator system associated data; a plurality of elevator system nodes communicatively connected to the elevator communication network, wherein at least some of the plurality of elevator system nodes each includes a camera associated with an elevator and/or a landing floor served by the elevator and configured to provide image data about the elevator and/or the landing floor, wherein at least some of the plurality of elevator system nodes each includes a sensor associated with an elevator and a landing floor served by the elevator and configured to provide sensor data for at least one parameter associated with the elevator and/or the landing floor, and wherein at least one of the plurality of elevator system nodes includes a display node, and a controller communicatively connected to the elevator communication network. The controller is configured to obtain image data from a plurality of cameras and sensor data from a plurality of sensors during a fire emergency situation; and cause display, during the fire emergency situation, with the at least one display node a graphical user interface comprising image data and sensor data associated with a selected set of the plurality of cameras and sensors.
