System and method for remote setting of a tension in a crane transfer cable
A tension setting system for a remote setting of a tension in a transfer cable ensuring a displacement of a transfer carriage along a jib of a crane, including a winch equipped with a motor cooperating with the cable so as to ensure a displacement of the carriage, a pilot unit connected to the motor to pilot a displacement of the carriage, and a setting mechanical device mounted on the carriage and adapted to be actuated by the action of a displacement of the carriage. The setting mechanical device is coupled to the cable and configurable between a working configuration in which the mechanical device stands still irrespective of the displacement of the carriage and results in a holding of the tension in the cable, and a detent configuration in which, by the action of a displacement of the carriage piloted by the pilot unit according to a first sequence of reciprocating displacement, the mechanical device results in a release of the tension in the cable.

Vertical lifting device and method
A vertical lifting device and method are provided. The vertical lifting device includes a fixed frame fixed to a foundation. A first cavity allowing passage of a lifting rope is provided in the middle of the fixed frame. A sliding frame moving horizontally on the fixed frame is arranged above the fixed frame. A second cavity allowing passage of the lifting rope is provided in the middle of the sliding frame. At least two stepping vehicles alternately lowering or lifting weights are arranged on the sliding frame and move on the sliding frame. The stepping vehicles are spaced in preset distances. The lifting rope penetrates through the stepping vehicles in sequence. Each stepping vehicle is provided with a clamping part clamping the lifting rope and a driving mechanism driving the stepping vehicle to move on the sliding frame.
STS crane
An STS crane (Ship-to Shore) includes a portal frame structure; a boom which has a portion extending on a ship's side as well as a portion extending on a quay side; a trolley moving along the boom; a hoisting mechanism which has a rope drum for hoisting ropes, whereby the hoisting ropes are routed from the rope drum through boom ends to the trolley; auxiliary trolleys which move along the boom on both sides of the trolley to support and/or tighten the hoisting ropes; and a folding joint on the boom portion extending on the ship's side for folding up the folding portion of the boom extending to the direction of the ship from the folding joint; whereby there are auxiliary trolley rails arranged for the auxiliary trolleys, these auxiliary trolley rails being separate from the trolley rails; and whereby the drive roping of the auxiliary trolleys is divided into two separate and independent drive ropings which have separate and independent drive mechanisms and which are on different sides of the folding joint on the boom.

ROPE GUIDING DEVICE OF ROPE HOIST
A rope guiding device used in connection with the rope hoist to guide a hoisting rope. The inventive rope guiding device of a rope hoist for guiding a hoisting rope on a rope drum which rope drum may be adapted to rotate in order to wind the hoisting rope around the rope drum or off the rope drum to hoist and lower a load adapted on the hoisting rope, the rope guiding device comprising at least one guiding element to guide the hoisting rope of the rope hoist, and a screw to move said at least one guiding element, is characterized in that wherein the rope guiding device is supported to the body of a trolley of the rope hoist by means of a support arrangement which support arrangement comprises first pivotings and second pivotings adapted to a substantially 90-degree angle in relation to said first pivotings.
Caring lift
A stationary type caring lift includes a base plate arranged on a floor part at each of head and foot sides of a bed for a care receiver along each short-side side of the bed, four supports erected on the base plates in the vicinity of four corners of the bed, a pair of guide rails supported above the bed by the four supports and arranged in parallel along both long-side sides of the bed, a longitudinally moving body arranged between the guide rails and capable of being moved in a longitudinal direction of the bed while being guided by the guide rails, a slide rail attached movably, a laterally moving body attached movably in the lateral direction of the bed, and a lifting drive mechanism attached in the laterally moving body for hanging down the care receiver and having a worm reduction gear with a self-lock function.

Track and trolley transport and storage system
Described herein is a storage system for installation onto a surface, such as a horizontal or vertical wall, such as an interior garage ceiling, floor, or wall. The system can be used to move, lift, and/or store articles, such as bicycles, skis, storage containers, and the like. The system generally comprises a track defining a longitudinally extending path and a trolley assembly coupled to the track. The trolley assembly generally comprises a trolley body, a pair of opposing sidewalls extending from the trolley body, and a roller assembly positioned between the pair of opposing sidewalls. The trolley assembly may further comprise a carrier attachment to secure an article thereto. A drive member and drive unit can be used for effecting movement so as to shift the trolley assembly from one position to another. The system generally comprises simple and easy-to-install components, thereby providing advantages over prior storage systems.
DOUBLE-REEVED LIFTING DEVICE WITH AN IMPROVED PAWL-LOCKING MECHANISM
A double-reeved lifting device includes a lower reeve block secured to a lifting hook and an upper reeve block, wherein the two reeve blocks are part of a mechanical reversible connection system to be reversibly configurable between a connected configuration and a disconnected configuration, with a locking mechanism and a complementary locking structure supporting a locking member. The locking mechanism includes a chassis having a locking channel provided with a mouthpiece through which the locking member can enter and exit and can slide in the locking channel respectively during a relative approach and distancing between the two reeve blocks. A pawl is pivotally mounted on the chassis to pivot inside the locking channel and is provided with a free end capable of being engaged with the locking member. A thrust stop assembly and elastic return member push on the pawl.
