Vacuum Lifting Arrangement and Method for Providing a Such
The disclosure relates to a vacuum lifting arrangement comprising a vacuum pump, a valve arrangement, a support structure, and a flexible lifting tube comprising a suction foot. The vacuum pump is connected to the valve arrangement and to the flexible lifting tube. The valve arrangement is arranged to extend and retract the flexible lifting tube. The valve arrangement is arranged separate from the suction foot, between the vacuum pump and the suction foot. The disclosure also relates to a method of providing a vacuum lifting arrangement.
TOWER CRANE FOR ERECTING A WIND TURBINE, AND METHOD FOR ERECTING SAID TOWER CRANE
A rotating tower crane for erecting a wind turbine, having a tower and a tower substructure, which is connected to the tower and is intended for supporting the tower, wherein the tower substructure has a supporting cross frame, which has three or more, preferably four, legs, extending from the tower. It is proposed that each leg has fastened on it, on the ground side, a load-distributor plate, which is not connected to the foundation, wherein the load-distributor plates together form the ballast of the tower.
Man Overboard Rescue System
A man over board rescue system 100 may comprise a main body 200 with the main body quickly and easily being attached and detached to a ship's bitt. Thus, the system may be quickly set up prior to departing and quickly put away at the end of a voyage. The system allows for the fast and efficient rescue of a person overboard without need for a rescuer to enter the water or to risk bodily injury in retrieving a person in the water. The system provides secure mechanical means allowing for a winch to be used in the support of a person which is a significant departure from the prior art.
WATER VEHICLE HAVING A CRANE FOR LIFTING LOADS
A watercraft may include a crane for lifting loads. The crane may include a tower and a boom that is rotatble with respect to the tower. The tower may be positioned inside the outer contour of the watercraft so as to minimize the profile of the watercraft on radar. The watercraft may include a superstructure within which the tower may be disposed. The superstructure may include planar outer walls that are obtuse relative to a horizontal plane. A rotary bearing may be utilized to connect the boom to the tower and permit the boom to rotate relative to the tower. Further, when the boom is in a rest position, a lower edge of the boom may be positioned 10 cm or less above the crane deck.”
Method for bringing a work machine into a weathervane position, and work machine for carrying out the method
The invention relates to a method of weathervaning a work machine in out-of-operation mode, in particular of weathervaning a revolving crane/revolving tower crane or a concrete spreader mast, wherein the work machine comprises at least one slewing part that is rotatable about a substantially vertical axis by means of a slewing gear, and wherein in a first step one or more wind data are measured by means of a measurement system arranged at the work machine; an optimum position of the slewing part is determined for an optimum weathervaning in dependence on the detected wind data; and the slewing gear drive is subsequently correspondingly actuated to bring the slewing part into the determined position.
Tower slewing crane
The present invention relates to a crane, having a jib rotatable about an upright axis, at which jib a trolley is movably arranged, from which trolley a hoist rope connected to a load hook runs off, as well as a load hook position determining device for determining the position of the load hook. The load hook position may be determined optically by means of one camera only, which camera is mounted on the trolley of the crane and views from the trolley in a predetermined and thus known viewing direction downwards onto the load hook. In doing so, the position of the load hook in the camera image is determined by an image evaluator. To simplify detection of the load hook in the camera image, the image evaluator may include rope run determining means for determining the rope run of the hoist rope running off from the trolley.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING RESCUE HOIST LOADS
A boom assembly for a hoist may include a flat surface configured to elastically deform in response to a load on the hoist, and a strain sensor coupled to the flat surface and configured to generate an electronic signal.
Wind power generation apparatus having tower crane structure
Provided is an eco-friendly wind power generation apparatus that can perform power generation using wind by providing the blades of a wind power generator on a jib of a tower crane, and can perform wind power generation at the optimum altitude and in the optimum direction by automatically or manually performing the lifting or lowering and swing operation of a jib even when wind speed is insufficient because wind is not blowing, or perform wind power generation using artificial wind power generated by the operation of the jib, thereby generating a lot of electricity in necessary places and supply the electricity to all industrial sectors regardless of location and environment.
Pivot-forming crane element for an element-mounted crane
A pivot-forming crane element for a rotating portion of an element-mounted crane includes a framework on which a motor-driven orienting system, a hoisting winch and a dispensing winch are mounted. The motor-driven orienting system includes a pivot mechanism about an orienting axis and at least one orienting electric motor cooperating with the pivot mechanism to make the framework pivot about the orienting axis. The hoisting winch is provided with a hoisting electric motor cooperating with a hoisting drum around which a hoisting rope is wound. The dispensing winch is provided with a dispensing electric motor cooperating with a dispensing drum around which a dispensing rope is wound.
