Crane system for a cantilever
A crane system is for a cantilever belonging to a jack-up rig. The crane system has a crane with a suspension member, the suspension member being arranged over the crane. A skid beam is attached to a lower portion of the cantilever, the skid beam being displaceably connected to a plurality of slides arranged on the jack-up rig, the crane hanging on the skid beam. A method is for using the crane system.
Deck with a slidable platform
This invention relates generally to a deck with a slidable platform such as for use in construction. In one embodiment, the a deck includes, but is not limited to, at least one fixed member positionable on a floor of a building, the at least one fixed member including at least one drive mechanism coupled thereto or disposed therein; at least one extension member that is coupled to the at least one drive mechanism, the at least one extension member operable to retractably extend from the at least one fixed member beyond an edge of the floor in response to actuation of the at least one drive mechanism; and a platform that is detached from the at least one fixed member and that is coupled to the at least one extension member such that the platform is operable to retractably extend beyond the edge of the floor in conjunction with the at least one extension member, the platform including at least one wheel operable to interface directly or indirectly with the floor of the building for distributing at least some weight from the platform to the floor of the building.
BUILDING CONTAINER OUTRIGGER AND METHODS OF USE
A building container outrigger to provide an elevated work space for use between concrete slabs of a building under construction having a container, a plurality of support beams, each support beam positioned lengthwise under the floor of the container and extend therefrom the sides, a pair of spaced apart outrigger beams, a first outrigger end and a second outrigger end, each second outrigger end in contact with and affixed to the upper side of each support beam end, the other outrigger beam end removeably anchored to the slab floor with the front edge of the container flush with the exterior or front slab edge, and, thus, functions to functions to efficiently move materials and tools or personnel space from floor to floor as construction phases move vertically.
Building crane outrigger and methods of use
A building outrigger apparatus to provide an elevated work space or debris removal or crane services for use between concrete slabs of a building under construction having a container or platform to support a container or platform, a plurality of support beams, each support beam positioned lengthwise under the floor of the container and extend therefrom the sides, a pair of spaced apart outrigger beams, a first outrigger end and a second outrigger end, each second outrigger end in contact with and affixed to the upper side of each support beam end, the other outrigger beam end removeably anchored to the slab floor with the front edge of the container flush with the exterior or front slab edge, and, thus, functions to efficiently move or remove materials and tools or personnel space from floor to floor as construction phases move vertically.
Method and System for Removing and Storing Vehicle Hard Tops
A method and system for removing and storing vehicle hard tops is disclosed. The hard top removal system is comprised of a rack with webbing straps, a ceiling anchor, a wall anchor, a lifting line, pulleys and a winch. An object of the invention is to provide an easy means to remove and store a vehicle hard top when the vehicle is parked in a typical residential garage.
HOIST PLATFORM SYSTEM FOR MULTI-FLOOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
A master hoisting platform, comprising: an outer frame removably installable inside a floor of a multi-floor building under construction; and an inner frame slidable in the outer frame between a retracted position inside the floor and an extended position outside the floor; wherein the inner frame comprises a framework structure to mount a hoist comprising a winch positioned rearwardly above the inner frame, and a sheave positioned forwardly above the inner frame.
CANTILEVER HOIST DEVICE
A cantilever hoist device lifts a load in a spatially limited environment includes a support column having a proximal end and a distal end), wherein the proximal end secures the support column in an upright position. Moreover, the device includes an elongated, stiff, and rigid cantilever arm hingedly mounted at the distal end. Additionally, the device includes a drive unit arranged to displace the load towards or away from the cantilever arm using a lifting medium passing one or more pulleys. The drive unit includes a winding body onto which the lifting medium is rollable to displace the load. The drive unit is mounted at the distal end of the support column.
Lifting device
A lifting device, configured to attach to a lifting head and sling to move a disabled person from one location to another including a support column, a first arm, a second arm, and a friction brake. The support column includes an axis and is configured to attach between two stationary surfaces. The first arm is fixedly connected to the support column. The second arm is pivotally connected to the first arm at a pivot joint. The second arm is configured to connect to the lifting head. The support column and first arm are configured to rotate around the axis, and the second arm is configured to pivot around the pivot joint such that the second arm second end rotates three hundred and sixty degrees around the axis.
