The screwing/unscrewing tool may be used with a screw or bolt that is difficult to access in a crane mast or crane jib.

A fall protection device configured to retain and prevent the fall of a connecting pin used for an end-to-end assembly of two frame elements of a structure, the fall protection device includes a clamping collar having at least one internal groove, configurable between an open position capable of authorizing the insertion of an enlarged head of the connecting pin, and at least one closed position capable of locking the enlarged head inside the internal groove. The device further includes a lock cooperating with the clamping collar to lock the clamping collar in the closed position and a mooring link anchored on the clamping collar to moor the device on a fixed element.

The present invention relates to a crane having a multiple-piece longitudinal structural part, in particular a tower or boom, whose pieces comprise corner arms or horizontal beams which can be placed next to one another and which can be releasably connected to one another by a mortise and tenon joint, wherein the mortise and tenon joint comprises a tongue which can be plugged into a tongue receiver and which can be fixed by means of at least one crossbar which can be inserted transversely to the plug-in direction of the tongue. In accordance with the invention, the crossbar of the mortise and tenon joint can be spread apart by a spreading device such that the pieces of the longitudinal structural part to be connected can be clamped to one another by spreading apart the crossbar.

The present invention relates to a connecting device (1) for securing two beams to each other end to end. The connecting device comprises a pin (2), a shaft (4), and at least one a splice element (6) provided with a first through hole (8) for receiving the shaft (4), and a second through hole (10) spaced apart from the first through hole (8) for receiving the pin (2). There is a gap between the pin (2) and the splice element (6) when the pin is inserted in the second through hole (10). The shaft (4) is rotatable with respect to splice element (6) about a rotational axis (A) when the shaft is inserted in the first through hole (8). The connecting device comprises an eccentric ring (16) arranged in the first through hole (8) so that the eccentric ring (16) is rotatable with respect to the first through hole (8). The eccentric ring (16) has an opening (18) for receiving the shaft (4), and the eccentric ring (16) is rotatable upon rotation of the shaft (4) when the shaft is inserted into the opening. The centre of the eccentric ring is offset from the rotational axis (A) of the shaft so that the splice element (6) is moved with respect to the pin (2) upon rotation of the shaft (4) and by that closes the gap on one side of the pin.
