ARTICLE FEEDING DEVICE
20220402741 · 2022-12-22 ·

According to the present disclosure, an article feeding device that reliably and consistently outputs properly oriented articles includes an input configured to receive articles, an output configured to dispense properly oriented articles, an orientation alteration portion between the input and output, and an orientation control system. The orientation alteration portion includes a first track configured to allow properly oriented articles to pass therethrough without alteration and a second track configured to alter the orientation of improperly oriented articles. The orientation control system is configured to detect orientation of the articles at the input and to send the articles to either the first track or the second track depending upon the detected orientation.

Integrated capper system
09776754 · 2017-10-03 · ·

An integrated conveyor line system for placing safety and non-safety caps onto bottles traveling on the same conveyor line. A network of sensors and RFID readers determine the location of bottles and ensure that the right cap is placed on each bottle. The processing system controlling the hardware components instructs the appropriate components to divert bottles to a reject holding queue when the system detects a bottle having the wrong type of cap.

CAPPER HEAD FOR CAPPER
20240116741 · 2024-04-11 ·

The invention relates to a capper head having at least one movement arm, which has an actuation section for actuating the at least one movement arm and a contact section for contacting a cap. The capper head further has a control element that is or may be brought into contact with the actuation section of the at least one movement arm to effect a movement of the at least one movement arm, and a cover that covers the control element and the actuation section of the at least one movement arm. Preferably, the cover may protect important components of the capper head from cleaning fluid, etc.

Device for providing sorted closure elements

A device for providing sorted closure elements in the form of crown caps, having a space for bulk storage of the caps, a lifting conveyor in the form of a belt entering the space and including, on an outer face, a plurality of cleats oriented transversely and spaced in order to define a recess between a lower cleat and an upper cleat, wherein each recess collects a plurality of the caps as the recess passes through the storage space and is capable of sorting unbalanced caps present inside the recess. The lower edge of the upper cleat has a convex section opposite the belt. The sorting of the unbalanced caps is configured to cooperate with the movement of the lifting conveyor to cause the incorrectly oriented caps to fall.

CONTAINER TOP CLOSURE APPARATUS, AUTOMATION SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS

Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed herein for assembling a container cap to a container, which utilizes one or more independently operated torque limiter assemblies for securing a container top to a container. A packaging system for assembling a container can include chuck assemblies, torque limiter assemblies, and a controller. The controller can be configured to command each chuck assembly and/or torque limiter assembly independently from other assemblies within the packaging system. Threads of the container top and the corresponding attachment component can be properly orientated and aligned independently of other container tops and corresponding attachment components prior to securing action, such as to preclude each attachment component from being over-tightened or under-tightened relative to the respective container.
