Automatic Container Closing Machine

Automatic capping machine for containers in the food sector, by means of twist-off lids, carried out in a totally automated way, with the simultaneous application of a vacuum in the container to prevent air from entering in it, which would significantly reduce the preservation time of the food contained inside.

The invention presented affords the main advantage of performing container capping in high-vacuum conditions, using conventional containers that are standard in the glass market, with metal twist-off lids, making food packaging possible without requiring any type of covering liquid inside the container, as well as allowing the control and pre-configuration of the lid closing torque before initiating the work cycle.

Capping head for the application of caps on containers or bottles

A capping head for applying caps on containers or bottles and a capping assembly are provided. The capping head comprises a gripping assembly having a hollow body longitudinally extending along a vertical axis and internally defining a seat for the cap, the seat being delimited at its lower end by an inlet mouth for the introduction of the cap. A moving assembly is connected to the gripping assembly for controlling the movements thereof and is hermetically separated therefrom, and an ejector member is housed inside the hollow body of the gripping assembly, in such a manner that it is free to axially slide. The ejector member carries first and second magnetic elements such that a relative axial approach of the second magnetic element towards the first magnetic element results in a translation of the ejector member towards the lower inlet mouth of the gripping assembly.

Sealing machine and related control method

A sealing machine and method for controlling a sealing machine Includes the following steps: placing capped containers provided with a seal on plates, rotating the plates, pressing the seal against the cap of the container and fastening said seal using a sealing head. The step of rotating the plates is performed by rotating each plate independently of the other plates. The method further includes: detecting at least one parameter associated with the rotation of a plate and/or with a compression load between each sealing head and the seal, and comparing the value of the detected parameter with a reference range.

DETECTION DEVICE

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a detection device that detects the occurrence of an event (so-called “double capping”) in which two caps are disposed on one container. To that end, the detection device (10, 10A) of the present invention has two types of sensors provided on a production line (100) for a commercial product in which an opening (1A) of a container (1) is sealed with a cap (2), said sensors being a proximity sensor (3) along a path where the container (1) moves and a sensor (4: for example, a transmission sensor) equipped with a transmitter (4A), which is inside the same path, and a receiver (4B). An area detected by the sensors (3, 4) is an area where the cap (2) is not present in a normal state (a state in which double capping has not occurred), but where a subsequent cap (2-1) is present if two caps (2) in a row have been attached to one container (1).

A method for closing receptacles (2), comprising steps of: in a controlled-contamination environment (6) having a volume that extends into a restricted zone about the neck (2b) of the receptacles, resting and pressing a closure (10) onto a mouth (2a) of each receptacle (2); screwing the capsule (10) onto the neck (2b) of the corresponding receptacle (2) externally of the controlled contamination environment (6).

Device and method for providing sorted stopper elements

The invention relates to a device for providing stopper elements that are sorted in order to feed a downstream workstation. The devices comprising a lifting means; a means or referencing said stopper elements one by one, located downstream from the lifting means; a conveyor for bringing the referenced elements to said workstation, positioned at the outlet of said referencing means; a vision means for verifying the conformance of said elements in an inspection zone extending at the level of the referencing means and/or of the conveyor; and a means for expelling those elements that do not conform located downstream of said vision means. The inspection zone comprises at least two successive sections each including a distinct color. The invention also relates to a corresponding method.

Integrated capper system

An integrated conveyor line system for placing safety and non-safety caps onto bottles traveling on the same conveyor line. A network of sensors and RFID readers determine the location of bottles and ensure that the right cap is placed on each bottle. The processing system controlling the hardware components instructs the appropriate components to divert bottles to a reject holding queue when the system detects a bottle having the wrong type of cap.

Gripping assembly for capping head for the application of caps on containers or bottles

A gripping assembly for a capping head for applying caps on containers, as well as a capping head, are provided. The gripping assembly comprises a hollow body longitudinally extending along a vertical axis and internally defining a seat delimited at its lower end by an inlet mouth for the introduction of a cap. An ejector member is housed inside the hollow body such that the ejector member is free to slide axially. The gripping assembly further comprises a suspension member made of magnetic material or magnetizable material, and the ejector member carries a first magnetic element that interacts with the suspension member to determine a suspension condition of the ejector member. The magnetic interaction between the first magnetic element and the suspension member is such that the suspension condition is determined only when the ejector member is brought in close proximity of or, in contact with, the suspension member.

Capping Machine

A capping machine for screwing a threaded cap on a threaded container having a threaded finish, the capping machine receiving the threaded cap from a cap distributor. The capping machine includes a cap guiding element provided above cap screwing belts, both being provided above a conveyor. The cap guiding element is movable between an upper position and a lower position. The cap guiding element is configured for abutting downwardly against the threaded cap when the threaded cap is in register therewith and maintaining the threaded cap in a predetermined attitude for at least part of the screwing process. The cap guiding element moves towards the lower position as the cap screwing belts screw the threaded cap on the threaded container.
