Keg closure housing with integrally formed features

A closure for a beverage keg is provided, comprising an outer housing wall defining at least a portion of a valve housing and an inner duct that is located within the outer housing wall. The inner duct extends through at least a portion of the valve housing to define a flow path through the closure. The outer housing wall and the inner duct are integrally formed together as part of a single housing component.

Tube for a withdrawal system and method for withdrawing a fluid from a container via a withdrawal system

A removal system (1) with an interface 5a for releasable connection to an extraction head (2) of the removal system (1), such that the tube (5) can be used as a single-use part for removing fluid from a container.

Keg coupler with secondary pressure regulator and systems using same

A pressure regulator comprising a housing formed to include a bore therein, a piston moveably disposed within the bore wherein that piston comprises a first annular lip adjacent a first end, a spring disposed within said bore and comprising a first end and a second end, an adjustment cap moveably disposed in the bore, wherein the first end of the spring is in physical contact with the first annular lip and the second end of the spring is in physical contact with the adjustment cap.

VALVE FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER

Valve for a beverage container. A valve (1) for a beverage container (100) comprises a mounting element (10) for mounting the valve (1) in a container opening. The mounting element (10) extends radially from an inner side defining a fluid passage (12) through the mounting element (10) to an outer peripheral side for sealing against a container edge at the container opening. The mounting element (10) is coupled to a valve housing (20) comprising a housing side wall (21) extending axially from a housing top wall (22) to a housing bottom wall (23). The housing top wall (22) is sealed against the mounting element (10) and has a beverage outlet opening (25) aligned with the fluid passage (12). The housing side wall (21) has a beverage inlet opening. A valve body (30) is axially moveable inside the valve housing (20) from a first position closing off the beverage outlet opening (25) to a second position opening fluid connection through the beverage outlet opening (25). The valve body (30) comprises a closed upper end section (31) fixedly received in the beverage outlet opening (25) in the first position and operable to be moved away from the beverage outlet opening (25) to the second position axially past at least a part of the beverage inlet opening in the side wall. The valve body (30) further comprises a lower end section (32) extending axially from the closed upper end (31) in the direction of the housing bottom wall (23), the lower end arranged to contact an inner surface of the housing (20) at least in the second position.

APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FILLING A BEVERAGE CONTAINER

Exemplary embodiments include a filling apparatus that can be connected to a valve on a keg, such as a Sankey-D valve, and can be used to pour alcohol and other liquids into the keg, which may be pre-filled with a non-alcoholic drink mix. The filling apparatus has an upper structure which is coupled to a lower portion configured to mate with a keg valve. The filling apparatus may be designed to depress portions of the keg valve to allow for both filling and venting of the keg simultaneously. The filling apparatus may further be designed with features to prevent liquid escape during degassing of the keg. The filling apparatus may include a Sankey-D coupler or a coupler with a probe portion as the lower body portion.

Closure for the charging hole of a liquid container

The closure serves to tightly close the charging hole of a liquid container. It enables the container to be punctured at the charging hole. The closure is provided with a pressure equalizing valve. A tapping bush of an elastic material has a an axial puncturing channel and an axial pressure equalizing channel disposed adjacent to, and spaced from, one another, puncturing channel and the pressure equalizing channel terminating at an end face of the tapping bush next to one another. A flap is integrally articulated to the tapping bush, the flap in its closed position covering the end face, closing the open ends of the channels in a splash-water tight manner, and blocking the pressure equalizing channel in a pressure tight manner. The flap can be manually tilted up and down to unblock the pressure equalizing channel more or less, thereby actuating the pressure equalizing valve.
