Bag-in-box assembly
A bag-in-box assembly includes a box and a flexible container filled with a flowable material. The flexible container includes a front panel, a rear panel, and gusseted side panels adjoining the front panel and the rear panel along peripheral seals. Each peripheral seal having an arcuate body seal inner edge (ABSIE) and a tapered seal inner edge extending from each end of a body seal. The ABSIE has a radius of curvature from 1.0 mm to 300.0 mm. The bag-in-box assembly includes a top perimeter, a center perimeter, and a bottom perimeter as well as an aggregate contact length (ACL) at each perimeter. A top ACL is from 50% to 90% of the top perimeter, a center ACL is from 5% to 50% of the center perimeter, and a bottom ACL is from 50% to 90% of the bottom perimeter.
DISPENSING TAP FOR RIGID AND FLEXIBLE CONTAINERS, PREFERABLY OF THE BAG-IN-BOX TYPE
A dispensing tap for liquids containers includes a main containing body equipped on one side with a liquid dispensing end and on the opposite side with an end designed to perform a connection with a container of liquids; a cap for actuating dispensing operations placed above the liquid dispensing end; and a stem for opening and closing the dispensing of liquids, placed inside the dispensing end and operatively coupled to the cap.
Piercing cap and piercer
The present application relates to a system for dispensing fluid. The system includes a flexible container including a spout that is in fluid communication with an interior region of the container. The system includes a cap configured to be mounted to the spout. The cap includes an opening that leads to a membrane and a first retention mechanism located in the opening. The system includes a piercing tube having a first end configured to puncture the membrane and a second end configured to be connected to a dispensing tube. The piercing tube includes a seal bead and a second retention mechanism. The piercing tube is inserted into the opening of the cap such that the first end punctures the membrane, the first and second retention mechanisms engage each other to retain the piercing tube in the cap, and the seal bead sealingly engages the cap.
Beverage dispenser for vertical wall
A beverage dispenser configured to be mounted to a vertical wall wherein the beverage dispenser provides dispensing of a beverage while suspended on the wall. The present invention includes a support frame wherein the support frame defines the peripheral edges of the shape of the support frame. The support frame includes a central aperture surrounded by a plurality of support members. A cover member is secured to the front side of the support frame so as to cover the central aperture. A bladder is suspendedly mounted within the central aperture of the support frame and extends downward from the upper end to the lower end of the support frame. The bladder includes a nozzle that is journaled through a hole in the cover member so as to provide dispensing of a beverage subsequent the beverage dispenser being secured to a wall. The cover member includes decorative indicia.
Method and apparatus for siphoning a beverage into a flexible container
A method of filling a beverage bag. The beverage bag is part of a beverage container that also includes a rigid container housing supporting a dispensing spout of the beverage bag, the dispensing spout forming a dispensing passage from an interior of the beverage bag to an exterior of the beverage container for dispensing a content of the beverage bag. The method includes running a siphoning line from a beverage reservoir to the beverage bag, removing the dispensing tap, extending a siphon line outlet portion of the siphoning line into the beverage bag through the dispensing passage, sealing the dispensing spout around the siphon line outlet portion to prevent pressure release through the dispensing spout around the siphon line outlet portion, and siphoning the beverage from the beverage reservoir into the beverage bag to expand the beverage bag to fill inner dimensions of the rigid container housing.
DISPENSING SYSTEM FOR DISPENSING A LIQUID FROM A REPLACEMENT CONTAINER
A dispensing system including a container and a dispenser. In some embodiments, the container includes a container body, a dispensing opening, and a seal over the dispensing opening. In some embodiments, the dispenser includes a base, a drawer, a piercing tube, and a dispensing tap. In some embodiments, the base is configured to receive the container. In some embodiments, the drawer is moveable relative to the base between a first position and a second position. In some embodiments, the piercing tube is coupled to and moveable with the drawer. In some embodiments, the dispensing tap is in fluid communication with the piercing tube. In some embodiments, the piercing tube is configured to pierce the seal of container when the container is received in the base and the drawer is moved from the first position to the second position.
Total Drain Container Device System
A total liquid drain container device comprising a wedge shaped insert used in conjunction with any bag-in-box type containers. This invention relates preferably to box wine containers and is a wedged shaped insert that is approximately one-quarter to one-half inch thicker on one side whereas the opposite or thinner side contains a cutout design to allow room for the bag-in-box drain spout. The wedge shape of the insert allows the contents inside the container bag to flow in the direction of the drain spout. The wedge shaped insert raises the bag to a position where the bottom of the bag is now aligned with the drain spout thus eliminating the need for tilting. This invention resolves two design issues of conventional bag-in-box containers; the need to tilt the container and the issue with not being able to drain the entire contents.
Liquid container for beverage dispensers and beverage dispenser comprising said container
A container for food safe liquids for beverage dispensers, includes a first end, or bottom wall, a second end, or neck, equipped with a portion for releasing the water designed to be connected to a corresponding junction portion of a beverage dispenser and a tubular wall extending annularly along its own main central axis between the first end and the second end. The tubular wall extends along the central axis with a succession of ridges and grooves such a way as to be collapsible along the central axis to reduce its overall dimensions, so as to compensate the negative pressure generated inside the container during dispensing of the liquid preventing contact between the liquid and the air outside the container.
