Portable Fuel Metering System
A portable fuel metering system (PMU) is described. The PMU has one or more flow meters capable of metering the flow of fluids, such as fuel, as the fluid is transferred from a source to a receiver. The PMU may include a telemetry unit configured to transmit parameters related to the fuel transfer to remote location. The PMU may be configured in a light, portable package that may be carried by one or two people. The PMU may include a power generator that is configured to use the flow of fluid to the PMU to generate power for the PMU's operation.
Fuel dispenser flow meter having vapor pressure correction arrangement
A method and apparatus for improving the accuracy of fuel flow meters by compensating for the presence of vapor bubbles generated within the flow meter. The method comprises measuring the temperature of the fuel flowing through the meter and using an algorithm or static lookup table to determine a vapor compensation factor based on that temperature. Because the tendency of fuel to vaporize depends largely on seasonal variations in fuel temperature, applying a temperature-dependent vapor compensation factor promotes year-round accuracy of the flow meter output.
Package design for dosing systems and methods of manufacture thereof
Disclosed herein is a dispensable container comprising a container for a fluid; and a fitting for discharging the fluid from the container; wherein the dispensable container is monolithic and where the container and the fitting contact each other seamlessly; and wherein the fitting comprises a conduit that has a higher aspect ratio than the container.

Dispensing meter for fluid dispensing
A handheld fluid meter includes a cartridge valve controlling the flow of fluid through the handheld meter. The cartridge valve includes a valve cartridge and a valve stem disposed within the valve cartridge. The cartridge valve guides the valve stem and provides the only sealing surface for the dynamic seals and control seal disposed on the valve stem. The handheld meter dispenses through a nozzle, which includes an overmolded stem tip that generates a laminar fluid flow as the fluid exits the nozzle. The overmolded stem tip is a compliant material. The handheld fluid meter includes circuitry configured to invert the orientation of a visual output provided by a display of the handheld fluid meter to facilitate installation of the handheld fluid meter for use in an oil bar application.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FLUID DELIVERY AT A TEMPORARY SITE
A fluid distribution system according to an example of the present disclosure includes a mobile trailer including a manifold having a plurality of outlets, and a plurality of sub-manifolds, each sub-manifold being configured to receive fluid from a respective one of the outlets and to provide the fluid to a respective plurality of supply lines. Each supply line has a control valve configured to control fluid flow in the supply line and a turbine meter configured to measure an amount of fluid flow through the supply line. A method of delivering fluid is also disclosed.
