20230068055 · 2023-03-02 ·

A liner, comprising a layered material in which a carded nonwoven wadding is thermally bonded to a thin carded nonwoven top layer, for upholstered furniture. In the liner, a high proportion of the staple fibers in the top layer are thin bi-component binder fibers. Further, at least 20 wt % of the staple fibers in the wadding is thick staple fibers. Furthermore, also the wadding comprises bi-component binder fibers.

[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to provide an elastic mesh structure having exceptional cushioning and reducing noise during compression or recovery. [Solution] A mesh structure comprising a three-dimensional, random-loop, joining structure formed by winding a continuous line of thermoplastic resin to form random loops, bringing the loops into contact with one another in a molten state, and fusing the majority of the contact area, wherein (a) the apparent density of the random-loop contact structure is 0.005-0.200 g/cm.sup.3, and (b) the number of contact points per unit weight of the random-loop contact structure is 500-1200/g.

An osmosis membrane is disposed at the boundary between a three-dimensional network structure section and a foam section. The osmosis membrane allows a liquid foam material to permeate. The three-dimensional network structure section is impregnated with the foam material through the osmosis membrane, and subsequently the foam material is solidified, thereby connecting the three-dimensional network structure section and the foam section to each other. The bonded body of the three-dimensional network structure section and the foam section is completed only by disposing the cushion structure component in between the upper mold and the lower mold, and performing a foaming step.

Method and apparatus for processing a fiber cushion body

A fiber cushion body comprises a first portion in which fibers have a preferential orientation along a first direction and at least a second portion having a fiber orientation and/or density different from the first portion. The fiber cushion body is processed using laser radiation to form a laser cut or laser weld.

An object of the present invention is to provide a three-dimensional network structure which has high hydrolysis resistance and thus degradation of resin due to moisture in the air is prevented in long-term use. The three-dimensional network structure includes a three-dimensional random loop shaped and bonded structure including a linear continuous fiber, wherein the linear continuous fiber includes a resin composition, and the resin composition includes a polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer and a phosphate glass. The phosphate glass preferably contains P.sub.2O.sub.5, SiO.sub.2, ZnO, and at least one selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal oxide and an alkaline earth metal.
