Water purification system with cycling sacrificial anode
An electrolysis system for water cleaning employs close anode and cathode plate spacing while providing cleaning of the plates. In one embodiment a moving anode allows access to the plates for cleaning.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HYDROPONIC CULTURE WITHOUT PESTICIDES TO REPRESS WATER BORN PATHOGEN
There is disclosed a water treatment system, a method of water treatment, and a fertilizer for use with the water treatment system and the method of water treatment. The water treatment system for hydroponic culture without pesticides comprises: an ionization device for the ionization of a culture water, the ionization device having at least one electrode for the release of divalent copper cations; a plant tray for the culture of plants; and a plurality of pipes fluidically connected to the ionization device and the plant tray, the culture water being in circulation through the water treatment system.
MULTISTAGE GREYWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A multistage greywater treatment system including at least one separation stage, at least one solid removal stage, and at least one disinfection stage. The at least one separation stage is configured to separate water from one or more water draining device into at least three outputs including a first intermediate greywater. The at least one solid removal stage is configured to receive the first intermediate greywater and dissolve solids from the first intermediate greywater to output a second intermediate greywater. The at least one disinfection stage is configured to receive the second intermediate greywater. The resultant greywater may be provided to at least one recycled water consuming device after passing through the at least one separation stage, at least one solid removal stage, and the at least one disinfection stage.
Electrolytic biocide-generating unit
The present disclosure relates to a biocide-generating device for outputting a biocide to a water system. The biocide-generating device includes a power circuit positioned within a housing that defines an electrolytic cell of the biocide-generating device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING WATER SYSTEM FOULING
A system in which water flowing through the system flows in proximity to an ion generation device and to a UV radiation source combines silver photochemistry principles, heavy metal toxicity, and UV radiation to form a highly effective combined water disinfection process. Using ion generation and UV irradiation, the system synergistically improves the disinfection and bactericidal effects of ion generation or UV radiation working individually by making ion-exposed microorganisms more susceptible and less resistant to the bactericidal effects of UV radiation. The UV radiation source uses a manual wiping system to remove buildup that is a result of water supply minerals attaching to quartz sleeves used within the UV radiation source. The present invention introduces a device or other obstructive structure that creates a flow pattern that provides additional “wiping” of the quartz sleeves on a continual basis in conjunction with manual wiping.
BIOFILM PREVENTION
A biofilm mitigation apparatus includes a supply container, a disinfectant generator, a power source, and a delivery tube. The supply container is configured to store one or more materials for a formation of a disinfectant. The disinfectant generator is configured to generate the disinfectant from the one or more materials from the supply container. The power source is configured to provide electrical power to the disinfectant generator. The delivery tube is configured to transport the disinfectant from the disinfectant generator to a biofilm.
INTEGRATED FAUCET FOR COPPER RELEASE
Described herein is a faucet arrangement, comprising a faucet unit and an electrolytic cell unit. The faucet unit is adapted to release water. The electrolytic cell unit is integrated with the faucet unit, and is adapted to release a controlled dosage of copper ions to water released by the faucet unit.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TREATING A FLOW OF WATER
A device for treating a flow of water having a chamber (1) through which the flow of water passes. in the chamber (1), a voltage with alternating polarity is fed to two electrodes (15a, 15b) of at least one electrolysis device, whereby particles of the electrode material are released to and entrained by the flow of water. The particles in the flow of water are mixed in at least one nozzle (45) of a vortexing device.
ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE FOR RELEASING IONS
The present invention relates to an electrochemical device for releasing ions, comprising an electrical circuit comprising a first electrode and a second electrode adapted for providing a galvanic cell when the electrodes are exposed to a fluid constituting an electrolyte, and a boost converter adapted for amplifying a potential generated between the first and the second electrode. The electrical circuit further comprises a third electrode connected with an output side of the boost converter, wherein the second and the third electrode constitutes an electrolytic cell powered by the galvanic cell when the electrodes are exposed to a fluid. The present invention further relates to devices, such as a toothbrush or a shaver, adapted for being used in connection with a fluid, comprising such electrochemical device for releasing ions.
