Method and system for the treatment of cyanide-containing fluids
A method and system for treating cyanide-containing fluids, in particular cyanide-containing waste water, wherein cyanide-containing fluid is subject to a pretreatment in a pretreatment zone, in which at least one predetermined pH value and a predetermined temperature is set, wherein a base fluid is formed with the pretreatment. Base fluid is reacted at least with an oxidation means in at least one reaction reactor, whereby an oxidation reaction of the cyanide is initiated. Fluid from the reaction reactor is transferred as intermediate fluid into at least one process reactor, in which conditions exist in which the oxidation reaction of the cyanide initiated in the reaction reactor can take place, wherein a process fluid is formed. A continuous flow of fluid is maintained at least periodically, wherein the base fluid is transferred continuously from the pretreatment zone into the reaction reactor, intermediate fluid is transferred continuously from the reaction reactor into the process reactor, and process fluid is removed continuously from the process reactor.
AGENTS FOR USE IN HYDROMETALLURGICAL PROCESS STREAMS
The present disclosure relates to the field of chemical compounds, compositions and processes. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to compositions having a high-loading capacity in an aqueous medium and to compositions, processes and uses thereof as silica coagulants in hydrometallurgical process streams.
WASTE LIQUID RECOVERY SYSTEM, CHEMICAL BATH DEPOSITION DEVICE AND DEPOSITION METHOD
The present disclosure provides a waste liquid recovery system, a chemical bath deposition device and a deposition method, the waste liquid recovery system comprises a waste liquid storage tank for storing the waste liquid generated by deposition of a cadmium sulfide deposition tank; a refrigeration device for refrigerating the stored waste liquid; a filtering device for filtering the waste liquid obtained after refrigerating; and a chemical liquid storage tank for storing the filtered waste liquid. The waste liquid recovery system, the chemical bath deposition device and the deposition method provided by the present disclosure provide a chemical liquid having the same concentration as an original liquid by refrigerating and filtering the waste liquid, and then replenishing the chemical raw material, thereby greatly improving the recycling of waste liquid and reducing a production cost.

PROCESSES AND APPARATUSES FOR CONVERTING POLY- AND PERFLUOROALKYL SUBSTANCES
Processes and apparatuses converting poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). An oxidation reaction zone, preferably a thermal oxidizer, is used to oxidize the PFAS into fluoride species. A reaction zone having at least one reactor containing a solid reactant for neutralizing the fluoride species is provided. The solid reactant is also configured to degrade any PFAS remaining in the effluent from the oxidation zone. A cooling zone, for example, a quench zone may be between the reaction zone and the oxidation zone. The PFAS may be liquid PFAS that is injected into the thermal oxidizer.
LITHOGRAPHIC APPARATUS AND DEVICE MANUFACTURING METHOD
In a lithographic projection apparatus, a liquid supply system maintains liquid in a space between the projection system and the substrate. The liquid supply system may further include a de-mineralizing unit, a distillation unit, a de-hydrocarbonating unit, a UV radiation source, and/or a filter configured to purify the liquid. A gas content reduction device may be provided to reduce a gas content of the liquid. A chemical may be added to the liquid using an adding device to inhibit lifeform growth and components of the liquid supply system may be made of a material which is non-transparent to visible light such that growth of lifeforms may be reduced.
