REGENERATIVE MEDIA FILTER AIR SCOURING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A water filtration system is also disclosed. The water filtration system includes a regenerative media filter vessel, a filtrate line, a feed line, a recirculation line, a gas line, and at least one pump. A method of filtering water in a system comprising a regenerative media filter is disclosed. The method includes operating the system in a filtration mode, operating the system in a cleaning mode responsive to a differential pressure measurement across the regenerative media filter, operating the system in an aeration mode, operating the system in a pre-filtration mode after operating the system in the cleaning mode, operating the system in a drain mode, and operating the system in the filtration mode following the drain mode. A controller and non-transitory computer-readable medium having computer-readable signals stored thereon that define instructions that, as a result of being executed by the controller, instruct the controller to perform a method of operating a water filtration system are disclosed.
COMPOSITION FOR pH CONTROL
A composition for treating swimming pool water comprises sodium bisulphate and aluminium sulphate. The aluminium sulphate in the composition minimizes the precipitation of sodium bisulphate at temperatures lower than about 5 degrees Celsius for a time period to maintain a concentrated form of acid to control the pH level of the water. In some embodiments, the composition includes 30 to 40% sodium bisulphate (NaHSO4) wt/wt %, 0.2% to 5% aluminium sulphate Al2(SO4)3 wt/wt %, 0.1% to 1% copper sulphate/chelating agent wt/wt %, 0.01% to 0.02% sodium hydroxide, and balance water.
WATER REMEDIATION SYSTEM
A water remediation system and accompanying method includes remediation by reducing the concentration of nutrients in the water and dosing the water with metal ions. It has been found that through a combination of reducing nutrients present in the water and treating with metal ions, the requirement to treat with high chemical dosages is removed.
SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR CHANGING COLOR OF POOL LIGHTS
A system and a method is provided for automatically changing color of pool lights to provide a visual notification regarding any change or anomaly associated with pool water. The system may comprise a receiver adapted to receive a measured value corresponding to one or more water quality parameters associated with water of a pool. The system may comprise a controller to analyze the measured value corresponding to the one or more water quality parameter to determine whether there is an anomaly associated with one or more of the water quality parameters; and a transmitter adapted to transmit a signal to one or more lights of the pool for changing from a first state to a second state based on the anomaly.
Method of filtering water being returned to a swimming pool
A liquid filtering device that works in conjunction with an existing filtration system to provide, for example, cleaner water in a swimming pool.
Treatment of Industrial Water Systems
A method for controlling treatment of an industrial water system is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of providing an apparatus for controlling delivery of at least one treatment chemical, the apparatus comprising at least one sensor and an electronic input/output device carrying out a protocol; measuring a parameter of the industrial water system using the at least one sensor; relaying the measured parameter to the electronic device; adjusting the protocol based on the measured parameter; delivering a concentrated treatment chemical into a stream of the industrial water system according to the adjusted protocol, the concentrated treatment chemical comprising an active ingredient, the active ingredient traced as necessary, the active ingredient having a concentration; repeating the measuring, the adjusting, and the delivering; and optionally repeating the steps for n-number of parameters, n-number of active ingredients, and/or n-number of concentrated treatment chemicals.
SANITARY WASHING DEVICE
A sanitary washing device including: a nozzle discharging water toward a human body private part; a water guide part including a pipe line reaching from a water supply source to the nozzle, and guiding water supplied from the water supply source to the nozzle; a vacuum breaker provided on a path of the water guide part, and taking air into the pipe line when water does not flow in the water guide part; and an ultraviolet irradiation part provided between the vacuum breaker and the nozzle on the path of the water guide part, and including a flow channel flowing water and a light emitting part irradiating ultraviolet rays to the water flowing in the flow channel is provided.
SWIMMING POOL CLEANING DEVICE INCLUDING A REMOVABLE FILTER DEVICE
Swimming pool cleaning apparatus may include a cleaning unit intended to be immersed in a swimming pool and at least one liquid filter circuit between at least one liquid inlet and at least one liquid outlet via a filter chamber removable from the body of the cleaning unit. The filter chamber may include a cover and a filter basket. The cover may include components for fastening the filter basket and locking the filter chamber to the body of the cleaning unit. The locking component may be releasable and, when released, may cause an extraction handle to be deployed from the filter chamber and urged toward a predetermined position.
System and method for providing water
The invention generally relates to the filed of providing a liquid for human consumption. In particular, the invention relates to a system for channeling a liquid such as particularly an aqueous liquid such as water in a circuit and for controlling the contamination of the circulating liquid with microorganisms, as well as to a corresponding method using the same. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for the effective energy saving in the course of providing a heated liquid for human consumption while controlling the limit values recommended, admissible or acceptable for microorganisms, in which the set temperature of a heating device (8) is adjusted to a value below 60° C., preferably to a value between 40 and 55° C., most preferably to a value between 43 and 48° C.
POOL SKIMMER GUARD ASSEMBLY
A pool skimmer guard assembly for keeping a pool skimmer free from obstructions includes a rod that is comprised of a resiliently bendable material. In this way the rod can be bent into a U-shape. Thus, the rod can be positioned in an intake of a pool skimmer having the rod curving outwardly from the intake. A pair of grips is each coupled to the rod such that each of the grips is positioned in the intake of the pool skimmer when the rod is bent into the U-shape. Each of the grips has a gripping edge that is perpendicularly oriented with the rod. In this way the gripping edge of each of the grips can engage a respective edge of the intake thereby inhibiting the rod from being dislodged from the intake.
