MEMBRANE DISTILLER AND OPERATION METHOD THEREFORE
An air channel membrane distiller (1) comprises a hot surface (12), a cooling section (20) and a hydrophobic membrane (30). The hot surface and the hydrophobic membrane define a sealed evaporation channel (40). A surface (22) of the cooling section and the hydrophobic membrane define a sealed condensation channel (50). A water supply tubing (42) is connected to the evaporation channel. A water discharge tubing (46) is connected to the evaporation channel. A purified-water discharge tubing (56) is connected to the condensation channel. The surface of the cooling section is given a temperature lower than a temperature of water in the evaporation channel. A gas supply arrangement (60) for inert gas comprises a heater (62). A gas pipe system (64) is arranged to a gas inlet (55) of the condensation channel for enabling flushing of at least the condensation channel with the inert gas.
WASTEWATER PROCESSING
A wastewater processing method includes introducing wastewater into an upper region of a chamber. The chamber remains at substantially atmospheric pressure. A portion of the wastewater in the chamber is vaporized. Flame is introduced into the chamber and provides for the ignition of a volatile organic compound. The vaporized portion of the wastewater is vented to the atmosphere.
POTABLE WATER PRODUCING DEVICE
A water treatment device comprising a clear container with lid surrounded by a solar reflector, and an insert in the form of a thin sheet or mesh permanently coated with titanium dioxide as a water sanitizing catalyst. The container is filled with non-potable water, covered with the lid, and placed in direct sunlight. Direct and reflected sunlight enters the water through the clear container and lid, where the sunlight's UV radiation and increased solar thermal heat disinfect the water. Further, the catalyst on the insert reacts with dissolved oxygen in the water to produce reactive oxygen species. These reactive species react with and decompose organic compounds in the water, and kill or inactivate pathogens. In addition, the reactive oxygen species further react with the water itself to produce additional free radical species, which also react with and decompose organic compounds and kill or inactivate pathogens.

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are destroyed by oxidation in supercritical conditions. PFAS in water can be concentrated and prepared for destruction in a pretreatment phase. Following annihilation of the PFAS in supercritical conditions to levels below 5 parts per trillion (ppt), the water effluent can be used to recover heat, returned to sub-critical conditions, and then released back into the environment.
MIKVAH SANITATION DEVICES
A sanitation device for cleaning a body of water in an immersion pool of a mikvah has a housing, a driving member and a bypass passageway. The housing includes an inlet, an outlet and internal liquid passages that communicate between the inlet and outlet. The driving member is arranged to urge flow of liquid through the internal liquid passages by exerting thrust upon liquid flowing through the driving member, wherein at least part of the liquid flowing through the liquid passages bypasses flowing through the driving member by flowing through the bypass passageway towards the device's outlet.
WATER INLET PROTECTION SYSTEM
A water inlet protection system is provided. The system may an adjustable frame defining an interior cavity, the adjustable frame including a plurality of rigid base members, a plurality of slidable corner members, a plurality of nut-and-bolt fasteners, and one or more tabs extending from one or more of the corner members. Each of the slidable corner members includes one or more slots, and each of the nut-and-bolt fasteners includes a bolt that extends through one of the one or more slots and one of the rigid base members. When the respective bolt is loosened, the respective slidable corner member is slidable along the respective slot atop the respective rigid base member, thereby altering a boundary of the interior cavity. When the respective bolt is tightened, the respective slidable corner member is fixed in place atop the respective rigid base member, thereby fixing the boundary of the interior cavity.
HEADRACE SYSTEM
A headrace system 1 improving a scum generation function of the headrace distributing and supplying raw water to a sedimentation basin provided in a sewage treatment plant to contribute to energy savings in the sewage treatment plant as a whole and contribute to solving environmental problems, which is provided with a buoyant imparting means 20 configured with including an ejector 22, in a side in which the raw water of a headrace body 2 to which the raw water is supplied or in the raw water flowed into the headrace 2 to impart buoyant force to solid matters contained in the raw water, and scum removing means 4, 8, 9, 10, 40a, and 40b removing scum S floating on a water surface of the headrace body 2.
RECYCLING SYSTEM
A recycling system includes a reaction kettle, a stirring device, and an electromagnetic device. The reaction kettle is provided with a liquid inlet, a gas inlet, a liquid outlet, and a slag discharge port. The stirring device is arranged on the reaction kettle. The stirring device includes a stirring rod and at least one stirring paddle. One end of the stirring rod extends into the reaction kettle, and the at least one stirring paddle is arranged on the end of the stirring rod. The electromagnetic device includes a first electromagnetic coil, and the first electromagnetic coil is wound on an outer circumferential surface of the reaction kettle. The arrangement of the stirring device allows the geothermal water to fully contact with the gas, which is conducive for the suspension of the ferroferric oxide in the geothermal water.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A UV reactor for disinfecting water and including a UV source printed circuit board assembly transfers heat to a heat sink in the form of a water facing thermal coupler. The UV source printed circuit board assembly may include a metal clad printed circuit board having a thermal contact region in thermal communication with the heat sink.
MULTIPASS WATER FILTER
A filter device for filtering water. The device includes a housing, for submersion in a water reservoir, that includes an intake aperture for intake of water from the reservoir and a return aperture for returning water to the reservoir. The housing extends along an axis. The device includes a pump, housed in the housing, arranged on the axis to direct fluid from the intake aperture to the return aperture. The device includes a filter arrangement, housed in the housing, arranged along the axis from the pump in a fluid path between the intake aperture and the return aperture.
