SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR CHANGING COLOR OF POOL LIGHTS
A system and a method is provided for automatically changing color of pool lights to provide a visual notification regarding any change or anomaly associated with pool water. The system may comprise a receiver adapted to receive a measured value corresponding to one or more water quality parameters associated with water of a pool. The system may comprise a controller to analyze the measured value corresponding to the one or more water quality parameter to determine whether there is an anomaly associated with one or more of the water quality parameters; and a transmitter adapted to transmit a signal to one or more lights of the pool for changing from a first state to a second state based on the anomaly.
Cooling pond water treatment system
A method of increasing operational efficiency of a power plant includes determining an average rate of accumulation of scale-forming compounds in a cooling water source, directing water from the cooling water source having a first concentration of scale forming compounds through a treatment system to produce a treated water having a lower concentration of scale-forming components than the first concentration by operating the treatment system with operating parameters selected such that a rate of removal of the scale-forming components from the water in the treatment system is greater than the average rate of accumulation of the scale-forming components, directing the treated water back into the cooling water source, and circulating water including the treated water from the cooling water source through a cooling system of the power plant.
WATER SOFTENER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
A water softener system includes a brine tank, an ion-exchange resin and a softener control valve fluidly coupling the brine tank and the ion-exchange resin. The softener control valve has an inlet configured to receive a flow of feed-water and an outlet configured to deliver a flow of product water. A flow meter is configured to monitor a flow rate of water to or from the control valve, and a sensor is arranged upstream of the inlet of the softener control valve to measure a fluid property of the flow of feed-water. A controller is configured to calculate an available exchange capacity of the ion-exchange resin using flow rate data from the flow meter and a hardness value of the feed-water, which the controller calculates using a fluid property value from the sensor and a predetermined coefficient. The controller is also configured to initiate a regeneration of the ion-exchange resin using the brine tank and the softener control valve, and to update the predetermined coefficient based at least partially on the calculated available exchange capacity upon initiating the regeneration.
SYSTEM FOR SIGNALING AND/OR DISPLAYING A DEPLETION CONDITION OF A FILTER CARTRIDGE
A system for signaling and/or displaying a depletion condition of a filter cartridge in a water treatment device by means of filtration with replaceable cartridges. The filter cartridge including an identification code which identifies the cartridge and which can be read by means of an optical reader of a portable electronic device. The portable electronic device includes a programmable control interface which can be displayed on a screen of the portable electronic device, by means of which it is possible to acquire identification data of the cartridge, to modify one or more predefined or previously imposed parameters in relation to the conditions of use of the cartridge, and to display the effective duration of the cartridge.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED SAMPLING, TESTING AND TREATING LARGE WATER BASINS
Embodiments of the invention provide a method, system and computer program product for automated sampling, testing and treating large water basins. In an embodiment of the invention, the method includes storing a plurality of locations of a water basin, where each location includes at least one chemical delivery outlet. The method further includes monitoring water quality for each of the plurality of locations and mapping a water quality value to each of the locations. The method even further includes responsive to the water quality value failing to meet a threshold value in one of the locations, automatically determining an amount of chemical based on the water quality value and delivering the amount of chemical only to the one of the locations through its corresponding chemical delivery outlet.
ON-DEMAND WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A water treatment system centrally communicates and controls one or more water treatment devices to regulate the use of the one or more water treatment devices. The water treatment system is configured to enable a localized, on-demand supply of purified water throughout a building or a network of buildings. The water treatment system may control a degree of purity (e.g., water hardness or concentration of dissolved salts) via mixing of purified and unpurified water streams in a controllable ratio (e.g., via one or more controllable valves or one or more tunable water softening units).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR WATER PRODUCTION, TREATMENT, ADJUSTMENT AND STORAGE
This disclosure is related to systems and methods for water treatment, storage and customization, and more particularly, to systems and related methods for water production, sanitation, adjustment, maintenance, storage and dispensing of potable water to a user. The systems and methods described herein can provide several advantages including providing consistent high-quality water at point-of-use locations, thereby avoiding inconveniences of transport, unpredictable or wasteful supply chains and/or alleviate water needs at remote locations. Furthermore, the systems and methods described herein can offer a seamless digital consumer experience with high accuracy reporting of water production, storage, quality and personalization for the user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT OF HARD WATER
Systems and methods for treatment of hard water are disclosed that relate to combining a scale reduction device with a water softener device. In an aspect, the water softener device is an ion exchange water softener device. The systems and methods can be used to provide treated water having the same or similar performance quality compared to water produced by ion exchange water softener devices alone, while using significantly less chemical regenerant.
Method of Controlling Filtration Time, Water Purifier and Device
A filtering time control method includes testing water quality to obtain a water quality status value, determining whether a current filtration meets requirements. Based on whether the current filtration meets the requirements, setting a duration of the next filtering based on the current filtration duration. Adaptive adjustment of the duration of filtration may ensure a filtering effect while saving water resources.
Filter head and extension kit for a filter head
The disclosure relates to a filter head comprising a housing having one inlet and at least one outlet for being connected to an on-site water pipe. A filter candle having a filter candle inlet and at least one filter candle outlet can be installed in the filter head, and the filter head has means for setting a desired degree of softening by setting a blend ratio. The filter head comprises a flow meter and at least one conductivity measuring device, in particular a conductivity measuring cell, and the filter head has an interface for data transmission to an external unit and an integrated computing unit.
