THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
There is provided a three-dimensional structure in which a multilayer film is three-dimensionally curved to form an interior space. The multilayer film includes a layer containing a carbon monoatomic layer substance, a support layer, and a curve induction layer that induces a curved structure, where the layer containing the carbon monoatomic layer substance is in contact with the interior space, and the support layer is positioned between the layer containing the carbon monoatomic layer substance and the curve induction layer.
Photonic crystal structure and anti-forgery color conversion film comprising same
An anti-forgery color conversion film includes a photonic crystal structure whose color is converted by an external stimulus such as a breath. The photonic crystal structure includes a first refractive index layer including a first polymer exhibiting a first refractive index; and a second refractive index layer which is alternately laminated with the first refractive index layer and includes a second polymer exhibiting a second refractive index. A consumer who purchases an article including the color conversion film may easily distinguish the authenticity of the article.
Method of mitigating defects on an optical surface and mirror formed by same
A method of making a mirror for use with extreme ultraviolet (EUV) or X-ray radiation is disclosed. The method includes: a) providing an optical element having a curved mirror surface, wherein the curved mirror surface comprises localized defects that degrade performance of the curved mirror surface; b) spin-coating the curved mirror surface with a material to cover at least some of the defects; and c) curing the spin-coated material on the curved mirror surface to reduce the number of defects and improve the performance of the curved mirror surface. Also disclosed is a mirror made by the method.
All inorganic perovskite materials for short wave IR devices
All inorganic perovskites for short-wave IR (SWIR) devices having improved chemical stability and long-term stability. Improved methods of making all inorganic perovskites for short-wave IR (SWIR) devices are also disclosed herein.
Surface coating materials and films and stacked structures and display devices and articles
A surface coating material includes a first material and a second material having a different structure. The first material includes a linking group represented by *—(CF.sub.2).sub.nO—* between two terminal ends, where one terminal end is a trifluoroalkoxy group and another terminal end is a silane group. The second material includes an oxyalkylene group or a *—NH—* linking group between two terminal ends, where one terminal end is an alkoxy group or an amino group, and another terminal end is a silane group. The first material is included in the surface coating material in an amount of less than or equal to about 5 mol % relative to a total amount (100 mol %) of the first material and the second material in the surface coating material.
METHODS FOR SYNTHESIZING METAL-CARBON COMPOSITE OF A CORE-SHELL STRUCTURE
The present invention provides a metal-carbon composite of a core-shell structure and a method of synthesizing the same. The method includes preparing a first polymer-covered glass substrate with a nano-thickness metal film deposited thereon; immersing the first polymer-covered glass substrate with the metal film to delaminate one or more 2D freestanding organic-metal nanosheets from the first polymer-covered glass substrate; transferring the one or more 2D freestanding organic-metal nanosheets onto a second target substrate; and annealing the one or more 2D freestanding organic-metal nanosheets to decompose an organic portion of the organic-metal nanosheet into an amorphous carbon-containing shell forming a metal-carbon nanocomposite of a core-shell structure.
