A ferrite sintered magnet comprising an M type Sr ferrite having a hexagonal structure as a main phase, wherein the ferrite sintered magnet comprises La and Co, a content of B is 0.005 to 0.9% by mass in terms of B.sub.2O.sub.3, a content of Zn is 0.01 to 1.2% by mass in terms of ZnO, and the ferrite sintered magnet satisfies [La]/[Zn]≤0.79 and [Co]/[Zn]≤0.67 when an atomic concentration of La is represented by [La], an atomic concentration of Co is represented by [Co], and an atomic concentration of Zn is represented by [Zn].
HIGH THERMAL CONDUCTIVE SILICON NITRIDE SINTERED BODY, AND SILICON NITRIDE SUBSTRATE AND SILICON NITRIDE CIRCUIT BOARD AND SEMICONDUCTOR APPARATUS USING THE SAME
The present invention provides a high thermal conductive silicon nitride sintered body having a thermal conductivity of 50 W/m.Math.K or more and a three-point bending strength of 600 MPa or more, wherein when an arbitrary cross section of the silicon nitride sintered body is subjected to XRD analysis and highest peak intensities detected at diffraction angles of 29.3±0.2°, 29.7±0.2°, 27.0±0.2°, and 36.1±0.2° are expressed as I.sub.29.3°, I.sub.29.7°, I.sub.27.0°, and I.sub.36.1°, a peak ratio (I.sub.29.3°)/(I.sub.27.0°+I.sub.36.1°) satisfies a range of 0.01 to 0.08, and a peak ratio (I.sub.29.7°)/(I.sub.27.0°+I.sub.36.1°) satisfies a range of 0.02 to 0.16. Due to above configuration, there can be provided a silicon nitride sintered body having a high thermal conductivity of 50 W/m.Math.K or more, and excellence in insulating properties and strength.
METHOD FOR PREPARING A MATERIAL MADE FROM ALUMINOSILICATE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING A COMPOSITE MATERIAL HAVING AN ALUMINOSILICATE MATRIX
The invention relates to a method for preparing a material based on an aluminosilicate selected from barium aluminosilicate BAS, barium-strontium aluminosilicate BSAS, and strontium aluminosilicate SAS, said aluminosilicate consisting of aluminosilicate with a hexagonal structure, characterised in that it includes a single sintering step in which a mixture of powders of precursors of said aluminosilicate, including an aluminium hydroxide Al(OH).sub.3 powder, are sintered by a hot-sintering technique with a pulsed electric field SPS; whereby a material based on an aluminosilicate, said aluminosilicate consisting of an aluminosilicate with a hexagonal structure is obtained. The material based on an aluminosilicate prepared by said method can be used in a method for preparing a composite material consisting of an aluminosilicate matrix reinforced by reinforcements made of metalloid or metal oxide.

One aspect of the present disclosure provides a composite body including: a nitride sintered body having a porous structure; and a semi-cured product of a thermosetting composition impregnated into the above-described nitride sintered body, in which dielectric breakdown voltage is 4.5 kV or higher.
Method for producing β-sialon fluorescent material
Provided is a method for producing a β-sialon fluorescent material, comprising preparing a composition containing a silicon nitride that contains aluminium, oxygen, and europium; heat-treating the composition at a temperature in a range of 1300° C. or more and 1600° C. or less to obtain a heat-treated product; subjecting the heat-treated product to a temperature-decrease of from the heat treatment temperature to 1000° C. as a first temperature-decrease step; and subjecting the heat-treated product to a temperature-decrease of from 1000° C. to 400° C. as a second temperature-decrease step. The first temperature-decrease step has a temperature-decrease rate in a range of 1.5° C./min or more and 200° C./min or less, and the second temperature-decrease step has a temperature-decrease rate in a range of 1° C./min or more and 200° C./min or less.
Cubic Boron Nitride Sintered Material Tool
A cubic boron nitride sintered material tool contains a plurality of cBN grains. cBN grains located on a surface of the cutting edge contain a cubic boron nitride phase, and a hexagonal boron nitride phase. When a ratio I.sub.π*/I.sub.σ* between an intensity of a π* peak derived from a π bond of hBN in the hexagonal boron nitride phase and an intensity of a σ* peak derived from a σ bond of hBN in the hexagonal boron nitride phase and a σ bond of cBN in the cubic boron nitride phase is determined by measuring an energy loss associated with excitation of K-shell electrons of boron, the ratio I.sub.π*/I.sub.σ* of the cBN grain on the surface of the cutting edge is 0.1 to 2, and the ratio I.sub.π*/I.sub.σ* of the cBN grain at a depth position of 5 μm from the surface of the cutting edge is 0.001 to 0.1.

Ceramic composite and method of preparing the same
A ceramic composite and a method of preparing the same are provided. The method of preparing the ceramic composite includes mixing an aluminum slag and a carbon accelerator to obtain a mixture and reacting the mixture at a temperature equal to or greater than 1600° C. in a nitrogen atmosphere to obtain a ceramic composite. The aluminum slag includes aluminum, oxygen, nitrogen, and magnesium. The weight ratio of the oxygen to the aluminum is 0.6 to 2. The weight ratio of the nitrogen to the aluminum is 0.1 to 1.2. The weight ratio of the magnesium to the aluminum is 0.04 to 0.2. The ceramic composite includes aluminum nitride accounting for at least 90 wt % of the ceramic composite.

A ferrite sintered magnet 100 comprises M-type ferrite crystal grains 4 having a hexagonal structure, two-crystal grain boundaries 6a formed between two of the M-type ferrite crystal grains 4, and multiple-crystal grain boundaries 6b surrounded by three or more of the M-type ferrite crystal grains 4. This ferrite sintered magnet 100 contains at least Fe, Ca, B, and Si, and contains B in an amount of 0.005 to 0.9 mass % in terms of B.sub.2O.sub.3, the two-crystal grain boundaries 6a and the multiple-crystal grain boundaries 6b contain Si and Ca, and in a cross-section parallel to a c-axis of the ferrite sintered magnet, when the number of multiple-crystal grain boundaries 6b having a maximum length of 0.49 to 5 μm per cross-sectional area of 76 μm.sup.2 is N, N is 7 or less.
