METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING MOLDS AND CORES LAYER BY LAYER BY MEANS OF A BINDER CONTAINING WATER GLASS, AND A BINDER CONTAINING WATER GLASS
The invention relates to a binder, which contains water glass and further a phosphate or a borate or both. The invention further relates to a method for constructing molds and cores layer by layer, the molds and cores comprising a construction material mixture, which at least comprises a refractory molding base material, and the binder. In order to produce the molds and cores layer by layer in 3-D printing, the refractory molding base material is applied layer by layer and is selectively printed with the binder layer by layer, and consequently a body corresponding to the molds or cores is constructed and the molds or cores are released after the unbonded construction material mixture has been removed.
SPRAY MATERIAL FOR HOT AND DRY SPRAY APPLICATION, AND HOT AND DRY SPRAY APPLICATION METHOD
A spray material for hot and dry spray application with improved corrosion resistance, and a hot and dry spray application method with improved corrosion resistance. A hot and dry spray application method comprises pressure-feeding a mixture comprising a refractory material and a binder, toward a spraying nozzle via a pipe, and adding water to the mixture at a distal end of the spraying nozzle to apply a spray under a hot condition. The mixture contains magnesium limestone having a particle size of 0.075 mm to less than 1 mm, in an amount of 10 mass % to 50 mass %, in 100 mass % of a total amount of the refractory material and the binder. The content of magnesium limestone having a particle size of less than 0.075 mm in 100 mass % of the total amount of the refractory material and the binder is 35 mass % or less (including 0).

COLD-SETTING DRY VIBRATABLE MIX
The invention relates to a refractory dry vibratable mix which sets at room temperature when water is added, for use in metallurgical vessels and comprising a refractory main component, a binder and a retarder.

Aluminophosphate-metal oxide bonded body and production method for same
An aluminophosphate-metal oxide bonded body including a metal oxide having a bonding surface on a part of the surface thereof, and aluminophosphate that is disposed on the bonding surface of the metal oxide, wherein an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal or both of these is/are disposed on the bonding surface of the metal oxide, and the content rate of the alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or both is from 0.3 to 30.0% by mass with respect to all of the substances that are disposed on the bonding surface of the metal oxide. An aluminophosphate-metal oxide bonded body that provides a favorable bonded state even for complicated shapes is provided.
COMPOSITION FOR FDM 3D PRINTERS
The present invention relates to a paste-type composition for a fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printer comprising: a ceramic powder including CaO and SiO.sub.2; and a binder solution, wherein the composition may be injected into the FDM 3D printer in the form of a paste to rapidly manufacture a molded article without a melting process and may precisely implement a variety of geometries to be utilized as a biological replacement for medical use.
Investment casting compositions
A composition which comprises a soluble or partially soluble phosphate, a refractory material and less than 1% of an oxide or hydroxide of magnesium or calcium. The composition may be mixed with water to form an investment casting slurry into which a wax pattern may be dipped. Slurry coated onto the pattern may be set by applying a stucco composition which comprises an oxide or hydroxide of magnesium or calcium. Coats of set slurry may be built up on the pattern to form an investment casting shell.
Zircon-based sintered concrete
A sintered concrete having the following mean chemical composition, as mass percentages on the basis of the oxides and for a total of 100%; ZrO.sub.2: 55 to 70%, SiO.sub.2: 25 to 40%, P.sub.2O.sub.5: 0.2 to 9.0%, Al.sub.2O.sub.3: 0.5 to 7.0%, CaO: >0.2%, CaO+MgO+B.sub.2O.sub.3+Fe.sub.2O.sub.3: 0.2 to 10.0%, MgO+B.sub.2O.sub.3+Fe.sub.2O.sub.3; 7.5%, B.sub.2O.sub.3+MgO: 4.5%, ZrO.sub.2+SiO.sub.2+P.sub.2O.sub.5+Al.sub.2O.sub.3+CaO+MgO+B.sub.2O.sub.3+Fe.sub.2O.sub.3: 95.0%, and containing more than 70% of zircon, as a mass percentage on the basis of the mass of the crystalline phases.
