Compositions, systems and methods for delivery of an element in response to biological demand
The invention provides compositions and systems comprising a carrier and an element. The carrier is a network of polymers insoluble in water comprising phenolic hydroxyl moieties, aliphatic hydroxyl moieties or a combination thereof. An association between the carrier and the element is labile in response to biological demand and the lability of the association in the presence of water is less than the lability of the association in response to biological demand. Also provided are methods of making such compositions and methods for delivering the element to an organism.
POD AND PLANT CULTIVATION APPARATUS HAVING SAME
Proposed is a pod and a plant cultivation apparatus having the pod of the present disclosure. In the pod, cultivation preparation is completed simply by removing a package that covers an upper portion of a container constituting the pod and seating the pod on the plant cultivation apparatus. Accordingly, even a user who does not have background knowledge of plant cultivation easily cultivate plants.
Atmospheric greenhouse gas removal
A material (such as potassium hydroxide or ammonia) capable of reacting with ambient carbon dioxide to produce fertilizer is placed in the path of ambient air movement. Desirably the material is associated with a fabric which in turn is associated with a vane of a vertical axis wind turbine, the turbine performing useful work as well as supporting the material which produces a fertilizer. A misting system controlled by a controller may automatically apply a water mist to the material if the humidity is below a predetermined level. The fabric with produced nitrogen and/or potassium fertilizer may be placed directly into contact with soil, or shredded first, or burned to produce energy and an ash (and the ash applied to the soil). The wind turbine may have a convenient, versatile mounting system with three adjustable legs supporting a central component, and the spokes of the wind turbine may be slotted for easy assembly with vanes.
MINERAL-BASED COMPOSITES
Disclosed herein are mineral-based composites that comprise gypsum, syngenite, brucite and a hydrated magnesium sulphate mineral, and which are adapted to degrade when buried. Also disclosed herein are mineral mixtures which can be used to produce the mineral-based composites, as well as products, such as plantable containers, formed from the mineral-based composites and which degrade when buried.

Adjustable System and Apparatus for Promoting Plant Growth
A system for applying CO.sub.2 gas to improve Cannabis production. A multistage system is disclosed including upstream, midstream, and downstream stages or subsystems. The upstream subsystem receives and stores gas, particularly CO2 gas. The midstream subsystem is communicatively connected to the upstream subsystem and to the downstream subsystem. It monitors the environment of the downstream subsystem, determines when and how to apply gas to plants growing in the downstream system, acquires gas stored in the upstream subsystem, and distributes it to the downstream system. It also has various monitoring, command and control, management, and reporting features. The downstream subsystem includes one or more plant growth areas or plots, gas distribution means, such as gas conduits, tubes or lines from the midstream subsystem, and the high efficiency, adjustable gas applicator, and various sensing and monitoring devices communicatively connected to the midstream subsystem.
Fertilizer stick
A fertilizer stick comprising a saccharide and a fertilizer dispersed therein, wherein the saccharide constitutes about 25% to about 95% (w/w) of the stick.

Potassium citrate mixture formed from a dry fertilizer and methods thereof
There is disclosed a dry fertilizer comprising citric acid and potassium carbonate or potassium bicarbonate. The dry fertilizer may be one of a tablet, powder, meal and pellet. The dry fertilizer may include one of plant nutrients, soil nutrients, carbonates, bicarbonates, acids, oils, microorganisms, biostimulants, enzymes, hormones, fertilizers, lubricants, and binding agents. The dry fertilizer may be packaged.
Infiltration Device
The present disclosure describes a device formed by a substantially cylindrical, permeable sheath with a filling of biochar particles, which ensures the deep infiltration of rainwater, irrigation water or run-off, thereby preventing it from evaporating and optimising the use thereof. The disclosure also describes a method for increasing a crop yield by using the disclosed devices.
