SYNTHESIS GAS TO HYDROCARBON PROCESSES WITH NEUTRAL OR NEGATIVE CARBON DIOXIDE SELECTIVITY
A process for preparing C.sub.2 to C.sub.4 hydrocarbons includes introducing a feed stream into a reaction zone of a reactor, the feed stream comprising hydrogen gas and carbon monoxide. An additional stream is introduced into the reaction zone of the reactor, the additional stream comprising carbon dioxide. A combined stream that includes the feed stream and the additional stream is converted into a product stream comprising C.sub.2 to C.sub.4 hydrocarbons in the reaction zone in the presence of a hybrid catalyst. The hybrid catalyst includes a mixed metal oxide catalyst component, and a microporous catalyst component. The process operates at a gas hourly space velocity in excess of 2500 hr.sup.-1 and effectively yields a net carbon dioxide selectivity of less than 5.0% and a productivity of C.sub.2-C.sub.4 hydrocarbons greater than 75 g hydrocarbons per kilogram of catalyst per hour.

Olefin production via dry reforming and olefin synthesis in a vessel
A system and method for producing olefin via dry reforming and olefin synthesis in the same vessel, including providing feed including methane and carbon dioxide to the vessel, converting methane and carbon dioxide in the vessel into syngas (that includes hydrogen and carbon monoxide) via dry reforming in the vessel, and cooling the syngas via a heat exchanger in the vessel. The method includes synthesizing olefin from the syngas in the vessel, wherein the olefin includes ethylene, propylene, or butene, or any combinations thereof.
Process for preparing C2—C5 hydrocarbons using a hybrid catalyst
A process for preparing C.sub.2 to C.sub.5 hydrocarbons includes introducing a feed stream into a reaction zone of a reactor, the feed stream including hydrogen gas and carbon monoxide. An additional stream is introduced into the reaction zone of the reactor, the additional stream comprising water, carbon dioxide, or mixtures thereof. A combined stream that includes the feed stream and the additional stream is converted into a product stream comprising C.sub.2 to C.sub.5 hydrocarbons in the reaction zone in the presence of a hybrid catalyst. The hybrid catalyst includes a metal oxide catalyst component, and a microporous catalyst component.
NANOSTRUCTURED HYBRID IRON-ZEOLITE CATALYSTS
The present invention relates to a hybrid iron nanoparticle catalyst comprising: i) 1 to 50 wt. % nanoparticles comprising iron and at least one of a metal M selected from the group consisting of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, transition metals of groups 3 to 7 and 9 to 11 of the Periodic Table of Elements, lanthanides and combinations of M thereof; and ii) 50 to 99 wt. % of an aluminosilicate or silicoaluminophosphate zeolite, based on the total weight of the catalyst, wherein said nanoparticle has a diameter of about 2 to 50 nm. The present invention also relates to a method of preparing the hybrid iron nanoparticle catalyst and a process for the production of light olefins using the hybrid iron nanoparticle catalyst.
Process for conversion of carbon dioxide and power into fuels and chemicals
The present invention describes a processes, systems, and catalysts for the conversion of carbon dioxide and water and electricity into low carbon or zero carbon high quality fuels and chemicals. In one aspect, the present invention provides an integrated process for the conversion of a feed stream comprising carbon dioxide to a product stream comprising hydrocarbons between 5 and 24 carbon atoms in length.
