HYDROCARBON FUNCTIONALIZED POLYAMINES FOR CORROSION INHIBITION
Compositions and methods are provided for reducing, inhibiting, or preventing corrosion of a surface, the polyamine compounds corresponding to the structure of Formula 1 or 2, or a salt thereof:

Compositions and methods are provided for reducing, inhibiting, or preventing corrosion of a surface, the polyamine compounds corresponding to the structure of Formula 1 or 2, or a salt thereof:

COMPOUND COMPRISING POLYAMINE, ACIDIC AND BORON FUNCTIONALITIES AND ITS USE AS A LUBRICANT ADDITIVE
A product resulting from the reaction of at least: a hydroxybenzoic acid, optionally substituted by a hydrocarbyl group, or an alkali and/or alkaline earth metal salt thereof, a boron compound, a polyalkylamine component selected from triamine and tetramine compounds. Also, a lubricant composition including this product. Use of this product as a lubricant for two-stroke marine engines and four-stroke marine engines, more preferably two-stroke marine engines.
COMPOUND COMPRISING POLYAMINE, ACIDIC AND BORON FUNCTIONALITIES AND ITS USE AS A LUBRICANT ADDITIVE
A product resulting from the reaction of at least: a hydroxybenzoic acid, optionally substituted by a hydrocarbyl group, or an alkali and/or alkaline earth metal salt thereof, a boron compound, a polyalkylamine component selected from triamine and tetramine compounds. Also, a lubricant composition including this product. Use of this product as a lubricant for two-stroke marine engines and four-stroke marine engines, more preferably two-stroke marine engines.
Process for manufacturing a mixture of straight-hain and non-straight-chain ethyleneamines
A process for manufacturing a mixture of straight-chain higher ethyleneamines and non-straight-chain higher ethyleneamines selected from branched higher ethyleneamines and cyclic higher ethyleneamines, or the urea derivatives thereof, includes reacting an amine-functional compound with an ethanolamine-functional compound in the presence of a carbon oxide delivering agent, wherein a) an amine-functional compound comprises a combination of straight-chain amine-functional compound and non-straight-chain amine-functional compound and is reacted with straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound, or b) a straight-chain amine-functional compound is reacted with ethanolamine-functional compound comprising a combination of straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound and non-straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound, or c) an amine-functional compound comprising a combination of straight-chain amine-functional compound and non-straight-chain amine-functional compound is reacted with ethanolamine-functional compound comprising a combination of straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound and non-straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound.

A process for manufacturing a mixture of straight-chain higher ethyleneamines and non-straight-chain higher ethyleneamines selected from branched higher ethyleneamines and cyclic higher ethyleneamines, or the urea derivatives thereof, includes reacting an amine-functional compound with an ethanolamine-functional compound in the presence of a carbon oxide delivering agent, wherein a) an amine-functional compound comprises a combination of straight-chain amine-functional compound and non-straight-chain amine-functional compound and is reacted with straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound, or b) a straight-chain amine-functional compound is reacted with ethanolamine-functional compound comprising a combination of straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound and non-straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound, or c) an amine-functional compound comprising a combination of straight-chain amine-functional compound and non-straight-chain amine-functional compound is reacted with ethanolamine-functional compound comprising a combination of straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound and non-straight-chain ethanolamine-functional compound.
Organic amine salt compounds having CO.SUB.2.-donating anions and their use as foaming agent
An organic amine salt compounds of general formula A.sup.n−[B.sup.m+].sub.p (I) is disclosed, wherein A.sup.n− is a CO.sub.2-donating anion with a valence of −n, wherein n=1, 2 or 3; each B.sup.m+ comprises: ammonium ion, hydrazinium ion and/or organic amine B cation; wherein
and wherein A.sup.n− is one or more selected from a group consisting of following anions: (a) carbamate orcarbazate; (b) carbonate; (c) formate; (d) bicarbonate; (e) organic monocarbonate; (f) organic poly-carbamate; (g) orthoformate; or (h) organic poly-carbonate. The compound of general formula (I) has at least one of hydroxyalkyl group linked to N atom, i.e., has alkanolamine residue. They can be used as polyurethane foaming agent, and most of them can be used as polystyrene foaming agent or polyvinyl choride foaming agent.

An organic amine salt compounds of general formula A.sup.n−[B.sup.m+].sub.p (I) is disclosed, wherein A.sup.n− is a CO.sub.2-donating anion with a valence of −n, wherein n=1, 2 or 3; each B.sup.m+ comprises: ammonium ion, hydrazinium ion and/or organic amine B cation; wherein
and wherein A.sup.n− is one or more selected from a group consisting of following anions: (a) carbamate orcarbazate; (b) carbonate; (c) formate; (d) bicarbonate; (e) organic monocarbonate; (f) organic poly-carbamate; (g) orthoformate; or (h) organic poly-carbonate. METHOD OF PRODUCING N-ALKYL POLYAMINES
In one embodiment, the invention presents a process for the preparation of N-alkyl polyamines that includes (i) the conversion of an amino alcohol to an aminoalkyl alkylating agent with a halo or aldehyde reactive group and (ii) the addition of amines to an amine-containing alkylating agent to make an N-alkyl polyamine.
