Compounds are provided that are useful as immunomodulators. The compounds have the following Formula (II):

Methods of reducing color in alkanolamine compositions and compositions produced thereby
A method of reducing color in an alkanolamine, the method comprising: contacting the alkanolamine with an amount of an aqueous solution effective to provide 5 to 1000 parts per million by weight of an alkali metal borohydride, based on parts by weight of the alkanolamine; and 0.5 to 10,000 parts per million by weight of an alkali metal hydroxide, based on parts by weight of the alkanolamine; preferably wherein the color-reduced alkanolamine is not distilled after the contacting.
Methods of reducing color in alkanolamine compositions and compositions produced thereby
A method of reducing color in an alkanolamine, the method comprising: contacting the alkanolamine with an amount of an aqueous solution effective to provide 5 to 1000 parts per million by weight of an alkali metal borohydride, based on parts by weight of the alkanolamine; and 0.5 to 10,000 parts per million by weight of an alkali metal hydroxide, based on parts by weight of the alkanolamine; preferably wherein the color-reduced alkanolamine is not distilled after the contacting.

ZEOLITE CATALYZED PROCESS FOR THE AMINATION OF PROPYLENE OXIDE
The present invention relates to a process for the conversion of propylene oxide to 1-amino-2-propanol and/or di(2-hydroxypropyl)amine comprising (i) providing a catalyst comprising a zeolitic material comprising YO.sub.2 and optionally comprising X.sub.2O.sub.3 in its framework structure, wherein Y is a tetravalent element and X is a trivalent element, wherein the zeolitic material has a framework-type structure selected from the group consisting of MFI and/or MEL, including MEL/MFI intergrowths; (ii) providing a mixture in the liquid phase comprising propylene oxide and ammonia; (iii) contacting the catalyst provided in (i) with the mixture in the liquid phase provided in (ii) for converting propylene oxide to 1-amino-2-propanol and/or di(2-hydroxypropyl)amine.
ZEOLITE CATALYZED PROCESS FOR THE AMINATION OF PROPYLENE OXIDE
The present invention relates to a process for the conversion of propylene oxide to 1-amino-2-propanol and/or di(2-hydroxypropyl)amine comprising (i) providing a catalyst comprising a zeolitic material comprising YO.sub.2 and optionally comprising X.sub.2O.sub.3 in its framework structure, wherein Y is a tetravalent element and X is a trivalent element, wherein the zeolitic material has a framework-type structure selected from the group consisting of MFI and/or MEL, including MEL/MFI intergrowths; (ii) providing a mixture in the liquid phase comprising propylene oxide and ammonia; (iii) contacting the catalyst provided in (i) with the mixture in the liquid phase provided in (ii) for converting propylene oxide to 1-amino-2-propanol and/or di(2-hydroxypropyl)amine.

The invention relates to a method for producing at least one metal amino alcoholate, at least comprising the following steps (A) providing at least one amino alcohol, (B) adding at least one basic compound to the at least one amino alcohol provided in step (A) in order to obtain at least one corresponding amino alcoholate, and (C) adding at least one metal halogenide to the mixture obtained in step (C) in order to obtain a corresponding metal amino alcoholate, wherein in step (C) the at least one metal halogenide is added as a solution in a protic solvent at a concentration of 2.0 to 35.0 wt. %; a solution containing at least one metal alcoholate obtained in this manner; the use of the solution to produce a composition; a corresponding composition; the use of said composition to produce single- or multi-layer paint structures; a method for single- or multi-layer coating of a substrate with a paint structure; and a substrate coated in this manner.
