ACTINIC RAY-SENSITIVE OR RADIATION-SENSITIVE RESIN COMPOSITION, ACTINIC RAY-SENSITIVE OR RADIATION-SENSITIVE FILM, PATTERN FORMING METHOD, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An actinic ray-sensitive or radiation-sensitive resin composition containing (A) an acid-decomposable resin, (B) a compound represented by General Formula (b1), and (C) a compound represented by General Formula (c1), in which a ratio of a content of the compound (C) to a content of the compound (B) is from 0.01% by mass to 10% by mass. In the formulae, L represents a single bond or a divalent linking group. A represents a group that decomposes by the action of an acid. B represents a group that decomposes by the action of an acid, a hydroxy group, or a carboxy group. It should be noted that at least one B represents the hydroxy group or the carboxy group. n represents an integer from 1 to 5. X represents an (n+1)-valent linking group. M.sup.+ represents a sulfonium ion or an iodonium ion.

Photopolymerization sensitizer composition
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a photopolymerizable composition which can act as a photopolymerization sensitizer that is active against light having a wavelength falling within a wavelength range of from 300 to 500 nm, and which has such a property that coloring of a cured product produced by polymerizing a photopolymerizable composition containing the photopolymerization sensitizer is less. A photopolymerization sensitizer composition characterized by comprising a photopolymerization sensitizer containing an alkoxyanthracene compound represented by the formula (1) and a singlet oxygen quencher; and a photopolymerizable composition containing the photopolymerization sensitizer composition: ##STR00001##
in the formula (1), n represents an integer of 1 or 2; R represents a C.sub.1-12 alkyl group; and X represents a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1-8 alkyl group.

DUST SUPPRESSION COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
Dust suppression compositions include at least one cationic or zwitterionic (meth)acrylate-based copolymer and at least one solvent, where the solvent can be water, an aqueous mixture, or one or more non-water solvents. The dust suppression composition can also include a plasticizer, generally glycerol. The dust suppression compositions are suitable for use with sand mixtures, especially silica sand mixtures.

The dental stereolithography-type three-dimensional printing material of the present invention comprises at least one or more (a) monofunctional acrylate monomer having an aromatic ring and (b) photopolymerization initiator, wherein an electronegativity difference between adjacent atoms which are bonded by covalent bond in all atoms constituting the (a) monofunctional acrylate monomer having an aromatic ring is less than 1.0.

Functionalized resin having a polar linker
Polar silane linkers are provided that attach to resins to form silane-functionalized resins. The functionalized resins can be bound to hydroxyl groups on the surface of silica particles to improve the dispersibility of the silica particles in rubber mixtures. Further disclosed are synthetic routes to provide the silane-functionalized resins, as well as various uses and end products that benefit from the unexpected properties of the silane-functionalized resins. Silane-functionalized resins impart remarkable properties on various rubber compositions, such as tires, belts, hoses, brakes, and the like. Automobile tires incorporating the silane-functionalized resins are shown to possess excellent results in balancing the properties of rolling resistance, tire wear, and wet braking performance.
Functionalized resin having a polar linker
Polar silane linkers are provided that attach to resins to form silane-functionalized resins. The functionalized resins can be bound to hydroxyl groups on the surface of silica particles to improve the dispersibility of the silica particles in rubber mixtures. Further disclosed are synthetic routes to provide the silane-functionalized resins, as well as various uses and end products that benefit from the unexpected properties of the silane-functionalized resins. Silane-functionalized resins impart remarkable properties on various rubber compositions, such as tires, belts, hoses, brakes, and the like. Automobile tires incorporating the silane-functionalized resins are shown to possess excellent results in balancing the properties of rolling resistance, tire wear, and wet braking performance.
