Dual metallocene polyethylene with improved processability for lightweight blow molded products
Ethylene-based polymers having a density of 0.952 to 0.968 g/cm.sup.3, a ratio of HLMI/MI from 185 to 550, an IB parameter from 1.46 to 1.80, a tan δ at 0.1 sec.sup.−1 from 1.05 to 1.75 degrees, and a slope of a plot of viscosity versus shear rate at 100 sec.sup.−1 from 0.18 to 0.28 are described, with low melt flow versions having a HLMI from 10 to 30 g/10 min and a Mw from 250,000 to 450,000 g/mol, and high melt flow versions having a HLMI from 30 to 55 g/10 min and a Mw from 200,000 to 300,000 g/mol. These polymers have the processability of chromium-based resins, but with improved stress crack resistance and topload strength for bottles and other blow molded products.

Cable jacket composition
The present invention relates to a cable jacket composition comprising a multimodal olefin copolymer, wherein said olefin copolymer has a density of 0.935-0.960 g/cm3 and MFR2 of 1.5-10.0 g/10 min and comprises a bimodal polymer mixture of a low molecular weight homo- or copolymer and a high molecular weight copolymer wherein the composition has ESCR of at least 2000 hours and wherein the numerical values of cable wear index and composition MFR2 (g/10 min) follow the correlation: Wear index<15.500+0.900*composition MFR2. The invention further relates to the process for preparing said composition and its use as outer jacket layer for a cable, preferably a communication cable, most preferably a fiber optic cable.
Cable jacket composition
The present invention relates to a cable jacket composition comprising a multimodal olefin copolymer, wherein said olefin copolymer has a density of 0.935-0.960 g/cm3 and MFR2 of 1.5-10.0 g/10 min and comprises a bimodal polymer mixture of a low molecular weight homo- or copolymer and a high molecular weight copolymer wherein the composition has ESCR of at least 2000 hours and wherein the numerical values of cable wear index and composition MFR2 (g/10 min) follow the correlation: Wear index<15.500+0.900*composition MFR2. ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to an adhesive composition comprising a. a polyethylene resin (A) which has been grafted with an acid grafting agent and b. an epoxy resin (B) in an amount of 0.01 to 15 wt. % of the adhesive total composition, wherein the adhesive composition is having a MFR.sub.5 of 0.1 to 12 g/10 min. Furthermore, the invention relates to an article, in particular a multilayer pipe, comprising an adhesive layer which comprises said adhesive composition and the use of said adhesive composition for the production of an adhesive layer, in particular of an adhesive layer of a pipe.
Ethylene interpolymer products and films
This disclosure relates to ethylene interpolymer compositions and films prepared therefrom. Specifically: ethylene interpolymer products having: a dimensionless Long Chain Branching Factor, LCBF, greater than or equal to 0.001; a residual catalytic metal of from ≥0.03 to ≤5 ppm of hafnium, and; a dimensionless unsaturation ratio, UR, of from ≥−0.40 to ≤0.06, wherein UR is defined by the following relationship; UR=(SC.sup.U−T.sup.U)/T.sup.U, where SC.sup.U is the amount of a side chain unsaturation per 100 carbons and T.sup.U is amount of a terminal unsaturation per 100 carbons, in said ethylene interpolymer product. The disclosed ethylene interpolymer products have a melt index from about 0.3 to about 500 dg/minute, a density from about 0.855 to about 0.975 g/cc, a polydispersity (M.sub.w/M.sub.n) from about 1.7 to about 25 and a Composition Distribution Breadth Index (CDBI.sub.50) from about 1% to about 98%.

This disclosure relates to ethylene interpolymer compositions and films prepared therefrom. Advanced quality control tools for manufacturing bimodal and multimodal polyethylene resins
A method of determining multimodal polyethylene quality comprising the steps of (a) providing a multimodal polyethylene resin sample; (b) determining, in any sequence, the following: that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a melt index within 30% of a target melt index; that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a density within 2.5% of a target density; that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a dynamic viscosity deviation (% MVD) from a target dynamic viscosity of less than about 100%; that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a weight average molecular weight (M.sub.w) deviation (% M.sub.wD) from a target M.sub.w of less than about 20%; and that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a gel permeation chromatography (GPC) curve profile deviation (% GPCD) from a target GPC curve profile of less than about 15%; and (c) responsive to step (b), designating the multimodal polyethylene resin sample as a high quality resin.
