AQUEOUS POLYURETHANE RESIN COMPOSITION AND COATING MATERIAL USING THE COMPOSITION
Provided is an aqueous polyurethane resin composition which is excellent in finished appearance as well as excellent in impact resistance, such as chipping resistance, and adhesion.
The aqueous polyurethane resin composition includes a polyurethane resin obtained from at least (a) at least two types of organic diisocyanate compounds and/or polyisocyanate compounds which are different from each other, (b) a polyol compound; (c) an acidic group-containing compounds comprising at least two types of compounds which are a compound containing a carboxyl group as the acid group (a carboxyl group-containing compound) and a compound containing a sulfo group as the acid group (a sulfo group-containing compound); and (d) a chain extender of a polyamine compound, a diamine compound, a polyol compound and/or an alkanolamine compound with a molecular weight of not more than 400, in which the aqueous polyurethane resin composition has a viscosity of not less than 500 Pa.Math.s and not more than 50,000 Pa.Math.s when the polyurethane resin is contained in an amount of 65% by weight.
COLORLESS RADIATION CURABLE BINDER DISPERSION
A colorless radiation curable binder dispersion includes water and a radiation curable polyurethane. The polyurethane is formed from a polyisocyanate; an acrylate or methacrylate having at least two hydroxyl (OH) groups and an acrylate or methacrylate group; another acrylate or methacrylate having an OH or amino group; and one of: i) a sulfonate or sulfonic acid having one amino group; ii) a combination of i and a compound including a carboxylic group and an OH or amino group; iii) a combination of i and a homopolymer or copolymer of poly(ethylene glycol) having one or two OH or amino groups at one chain end; or iv) a combination of i, a compound including a carboxylic group and an OH or amino group, and a homopolymer or copolymer of poly(ethylene glycol) having one or two OH or amino groups at one chain end.
IONIC-GROUP-CONTAINING MICROBALLOON AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a microballoon. The microballoon is made of polyurethane (urea). The microballoon is characterized in that an inner surface of the microballoon contains ionic groups. According to the present invention, through use for a CMP polishing pad, affinity with a slurry liquid for polishing is improved, and thus it is possible to provide a microballoon by which good polishing characteristics may be exhibited without lowering the resin strength of a polishing pad.
Adhesive composition and preparation method and use thereof
The invention relates to an adhesive composition, the preparation and use of said composition, and an article obtained by bonding using said composition. The adhesive composition comprises: a. an anionic aqueous polyurethane dispersion, which contains a polyurethane with enthalpy of fusion of at least 3 J/g, wherein the enthalpy of fusion is measured by DSC at 20° C.-100° C. of the first heating curve according to DIN 65467; and wherein said aqueous polyurethane dispersion has a hydroxyl content of 0.001% by weight to 0.085% by weight, relative to the total weight of the aqueous polyurethane dispersion; and b. an aqueous polyacrylate primary dispersion with a hydroxyl content of 0.5% by weight to 1.8% by weight, relative to the total weight of the aqueous polyacrylate primary dispersion; wherein the amount of the aqueous polyurethane dispersion is 30% by weight to 91% by weight, and the amount of the aqueous polyacrylate primary dispersion is 9% by weight to 70% by weight, the above weight percentages being relative to the total weight of the adhesive composition. The adhesive composition of the present invention has good high-temperature resistance.
TWO-COMPONENT POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION
A two-component polyurethane composition comprising a polyisocyanate and an emulsion polymer having greater than 2.2% of hydroxy groups in the emulsion polymer and comprising structural units of a polymerizable surfactant, a first hydroxy-functional monomer, an acid monomer and/or a salt thereof, an additional monoethylenically unsaturated nonionic monomer, and optionally a second hydroxy-functional alkyl (meth)acrylate; the two-component polyurethane composition providing improved alcohol resistance without compromising both acid and alkali resistance.

An inkjet ink includes a polyurethane binder particle including at least two polyurethane polymers; a pigment; and an aqueous vehicle. A first of the at least two polyurethane polymers has a first backbone chain formed from a first diisocyanate, a first hydrophobic graft diol, a first polycarbonate based diol, and a sulfonated diamine. A second of the at least two polyurethane polymer has a second backbone chain formed from a second diisocyanate, a second hydrophobic graft diol, and a second polycarbonate based diol, and includes a mono-amino substituted sulfonic acid as its capping moiety.

The present application relates to fibers having a diameter of 1 nm to 10,000 nm, of one or more biocompatible polymers, wherein the polymers have a backbone which includes a positively charged component from a zwitterionic moiety. Additionally, this application discloses an implantable therapeutic delivery system and its method of formation, comprising a housing defining a chamber, wherein said housing is porous and formed from the fibers. Inside of the housing includes a preparation of cells which release a therapeutic agent from the chamber. The implantable therapeutic delivery system can be used in the treatment of diabetes.

AQUEOUS DISPERSION COMPRISING POLYURETHANE OR POLYURETHANE-UREA, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR AND USE THEREOF
Aqueous dispersion comprising polyurethane or polyurethane-urea, a preparation method therefor and a use thereof. The polyurethane or polyurethane-urea is prepared by reacting raw materials comprising the following components: a compound having a tertiary amine group and at least one NCO reactive functional group, a polyester polyol having a number average molecular weight of 400 to 5000 and a functionality of 2 to 3, an organic compound having at least two isocyanate groups, a hydrophilic compound having one or more of an ionic group, a potential ionic group and a non-ionic group and having 2 to 3 NCO reactive functional groups, and a mono-functional non-ionic hydrophilic compound having at least one NCO reactive functional group. The aqueous dispersion can be stably stored for a prolonged period of time, and an adhesive prepared from the aqueous dispersion has an improved hydrolysis resistance while maintaining good bonding strength and heat resistance.
POLYISOCYANATE PREPARATIONS
The invention relates to a polyisocyanate preparation containing at least one polyisocyanate component A) hydrophilically modified with at least one ionic emulsifier and a solvent component E) consisting of at least one organic solvent, characterized in that the solvent component E) has a content of peroxides of not more than 70 mg/l of H.sub.2O.sub.2 equivalents, wherein this value is the average peroxide content of all organic solvents present in the solvent component E) and the polyisocyanate component A) and the solvent component E) are present in amounts such that the calculated peroxide content of the polyisocyanate preparation based on the sum of A) and E) is not more than 20 mg/l of H.sub.2O.sub.2. The invention further relates to the use thereof and to coating compositions and substrates coated with these coating compositions.
