Circuit board
The circuit board according to the present invention includes a wiring portion and a non-wiring portion, the wiring portion having a metal layer and a resin layer, the non-wiring portion having a resin layer, the resin layer at a frequency 10 GHZ having a relative permittivity of from 2 to 3 at 23° C., and the circuit hoard satisfying a relationship: (A−B)/B≤0.1 wherein A is the maximum value of the thickness in the wiring portion (μm) and B is the minimum value of the thickness in the non-wiring portion (μm).
COMPOSITE SEMIPERMEABLE MEMBRANE, SPIRAL WOUND SEPARATION MEMBRANE ELEMENT, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composite semipermeable membrane whose water permeability is hard to decline even when exposed to high temperature environment for a long period of time, a spiral wound separation membrane element using the composite semipermeable membrane, and a method for producing the same. Another purpose of the invention is to provide a method for evaluating water permeation performance of a composite semipermeable membrane, which method evaluates whether the water permeability of a composite semipermeable membrane is likely to decline due to heat, by a simple evaluation method. The composite semipermeable membrane having a skin layer that includes a polyamide resin, the skin layer being placed on a porous support and having an elastic modulus of 100 MPa or more, calculated by AFM force curve measurement in water.
IONIC CYCLIC NITROXYL RADICAL OLIGOMERS
Ionic cyclic nitroxyl radical oligomers, methods of making the ionic cyclic nitroxyl radical oligomers, and electrochemical cells, such as aqueous organic redox flow batteries (AORFBs) that use the ionic nitroxyl radical oligomers as catholytes are provided. The oligomers are larger than individual cyclic nitroxyl radical molecules, but maintain a high density nitroxyl radical groups within the molecule. As a result, when the oligomers are used as catholytes in an AORFB, they are able to reduce catholyte permeation through the ion-conducting membrane, while providing a high volumetric capacity and cycling stability.
Polymer, composition, molded article, cured product and laminate
A novel polymer having high glass transition temperature and an excellent balance between heat resistance, high refractive index and mechanical properties, and a composition and molded article containing the polymer are provided. The polymer according to the invention has a first structural unit represented by at least one of formulae (1-1), (1-2) and (1-3) below and a second structural unit having either a secondary amino structure or a tertiary amino structure at two or more terminals. ##STR00001##
WATERBORNE POLYAMIDE AND THEIR CHAIN EXTENSION WITH ISOCYANATES TO FORM CATIONIC WATERBORNE POLYUREAS DISPERSIONS
An improved process for forming polyamide dispersions in water utilizing carbon dioxide to facilitate dispersion of the polyamide is disclosed. The polyamides are generally below 30,000 or 40,000 g/mole molecular weight when dispersed, but can be chain extended with polyfunctional species such as polyisocyanates after dispersion. The dispersions are useful in coatings, adhesives, and inks. Composites and hybrids of these other polyamides with vinyl polymers are also disclosed and claimed.
COMPOSITE SEMIPERMEABLE MEMBRANE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, SPIRAL WOUND SEPARATION MEMBRANE ELEMENT
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a thin composite semipermeable membrane having a practical salt rejection and permeation flux; a method for producing said membrane; and a spiral wound separation membrane element that has a practical salt rejection and provides excellent water treatment efficiency. The method for producing the composite semipermeable membrane includes a step in while, while feeding out a porous support having a porous polymer layer on one surface of a nonwoven fabric layer from a supply roll, an amine solution containing a multifunctional amine component is brought into contact with the porous support, and an organic solution containing a multifunctional acid halide component is brought into contact with the amine solution on the porous support to cause interfacial polymerization, thus forming a skin layer containing a polyamide resin on the surface of the porous support.
POLYMERS, SUBSTRATES, METHODS FOR MAKING SUCH, AND DEVICES COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates generally to substrates for making polymers and methods for making polymers. The present invention also relates generally to polymers and devices comprising the same.
AQUEOUS COPOLYMER COATING COMPOSITIONS FOR INDUSTRIAL AND CONSTRUCTION APPLICATIONS
Copolymer dispersions containing polyamide segments in aqueous media form binders for coatings for various industrial and construction materials. The copolymers have a high percentage of amide linkages. The copolymers are linked into higher molecular weight species by reactions with polyisocyanates (which forms urea linkages if the other reactant is an amine or a urethane linkage if the other reactant is a hydroxyl group).
POLYMER HAVING ADHERENCE PROPERTIES
The present invention relates to the field of polymers used to form coatings at the surface of supports.
More particularly, the invention relates to a polymer having adhesion properties, in particular with regard to an organic or inorganic support, characterized in that it comprises at least one and preferably several consecutive or non-consecutive structural units of formula (I):
