RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ARTICLE
An object of the present invention is to provide a resin composition and a molded article each having suppressed surface stickiness while having high stress-relaxing ability and vibration-absorbing ability at room temperature. A resin composition (X) containing 10 to 50 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin (A) and 50 to 90 parts by mass of an inorganic substance (B), wherein a tan δ peak temperature and tan δ peak value, obtained by performing dynamic viscoelastic measurement at a frequency of 10 rad/s (1.6 Hz) in the temperature range of −40 to 150° C., are 0° C. or higher and 60° C. or lower, and 0.8 or more and 5.0 or less, respectively.
Breathable sheet, laminate, and composite
The breathable sheet of the present invention is comprised of a 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer or a resin composition containing the 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer as a main component. In addition, the breathable sheet of the present invention is preferably selected from the group consisting of a net, a mesh, a non-woven fabric, a woven fabric, and a perforated sheet.

The present invention provides a crosslinked molded article having a lower compression set; and a method for producing a crosslinked molded article by injection molding, the method enabling shortening of one cycle in injection molding, the method being suitable for obtaining a crosslinked molded article having a lower compression set. The present invention relates to a method for producing a crosslinked molded article, comprising melt-kneading a polymer composition containing a polymer having a terminal double bond, a hydrosilyl group-containing compound (Y) having at least two hydrosilyl groups per molecule, a platinum-based catalyst (Z) for hydrosilicon crosslinking, and a reaction inhibitor (D), subjecting the polymer composition to injection molding in a mold, performing primary crosslinking in the mold, removing the primary-crosslinked molded article from the mold, and then performing secondary crosslinking in a heat medium.
Particle size control of metallocene catalyst systems in loop slurry polymerization reactors
Catalyst compositions containing a metallocene compound, a solid activator, and a co-catalyst, in which the solid activator or the supported metallocene catalyst has a d50 average particle size of 15 to 50 μm and a particle size distribution of 0.5 to 1.5, can be contacted with an olefin in a loop slurry reactor to produce an olefin polymer. A representative ethylene-based polymer produced using the catalyst composition has excellent dart impact strength and low gels, and can be characterized by a HLMI from 4 to 10 g/10 min, a density from 0.944 to 0.955 g/cm.sup.3, a higher molecular weight component with a Mn from 280,000 to 440,000 g/mol, and a lower molecular weight component with a Mw from 30,000 to 45,000 g/mol and a ratio of Mz/Mw ranging from 2.3 to 3.4.

A composition includes a 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer in which at least one or more temperatures showing a local maximum value of a loss tangent (tan δ) are present in a range of 10° C. or higher and 100° C. or lower, and the local maximum value of the loss tangent is 0.5 or more and 3.5 or less, and an organic compound, in which a content of the organic compound is 5 to 250 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer, and the organic compound has a viscosity (mPa.Math.s) in a range of 65 to 120, or a ratio between a melt flow rate (g/10 min.) of the 4-methyl-1-pentene-based copolymer and a melt flow rate (g/10 min.) of the organic compound is 1:1.0 to 0.1.

An article comprising a polymeric foam, wherein the polymeric foam contains a continuous polymer matrix defining cells therein, the polymer matrix containing: (a) from 25 to 65 weight percent of one or more olefin block copolymer having a melt index of two grams per ten minutes or more, (b) from 65 to 25 weight percent of one or more chlorinated olefin polymer having a Mooney viscosity less than 60 (ML 1+4, 125° C.), and (c) from 5 to 30 weight parts of antimony trioxide relative to 100 weight parts of polymers in the polymeric foam, with weight percent values relative to total polymer weight in the polymeric foam; a process for preparing the article.
POLYOLEFIN-BASED RESIN PELLET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A polyolefin-based resin pellet which generates less fine powder is provided. The polyolefin-based resin pellet contains: a polyolefin-based resin; an erucic acid amide; and a fatty acid amide having 20 or less carbon atoms, in which a content of the fatty acid amide having 20 or less carbon atoms is 1% to 6% by mass with respect to 100% by mass of a total amount of the erucic acid amide and the fatty acid amide having 20 or less carbon atoms.
Particle Size Control of Metallocene Catalyst Systems in Loop Slurry Polymerization Reactors
Catalyst compositions containing a metallocene compound, a solid activator, and a co-catalyst, in which the solid activator or the supported metallocene catalyst has a d50 average particle size of 15 to 50 μm and a particle size distribution of 0.5 to 1.5, can be contacted with an olefin in a loop slurry reactor to produce an olefin polymer. Polyolefin resin composition and production method of same
Disclosed are a polyolefin resin composition and a production method using same. The polyolefin resin satisfies the following conditions: (1) melt index (MI2.16, 190° C., under a load of 2.16 kg) is 0.1 to 1.5 g/10 min; (2) density is 0.91 to 0.93 g/cc; (3) polydispersity Index (Mw (weight-average molecular weight)/Mn (number-average molecular weight)) is 3 to 7; (4) Mz (Z-average molecular weight)/Mw (weight-average molecular weight) is 2.3 to 4.5; and (5) COI(Comonomer Orthogonal Index) value calculated by Equation 1 in the specification is 5 to 12. In Equation 1, “SCB number at Mz” represents average number of branches derived from comonomers per 1000 carbon atoms at Z-average molecular weight (Mz), and “SCB number at Mn” represents average number of branches derived from comonomers per 1000 carbon atoms at number-average molecular weight (Mn) based on a molecular weight-comonomer distribution graph.
