A STABLE PVC COMPOSITION COMPRISING AN ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY PLASTICIZER
The present invention refers to a polyvinyl chloride composition with high stability, said composition comprising: a) 100 phr (parts per hundred resin) of a polyvinyl chloride resin, b) 10-150 phr of pentaerythritol tetravalerate as plasticizer, said pentaerythritol tetravalerate having an acid value of less than 0.05 mg KOH/g and being obtained through esterification of valeric acid and high purity pentaerythritol having a purity of at least 98%, an ash content of less than 200 ppm and a dipentaerythritol content of 0.1-2 wt%, c) 0.3-14 phr of at least one stabilizer, and optionally d) at least one additive, wherein and the amount of free acid in the polyvinyl chloride composition is less than 30 ppm, preferably less than 20 ppm. The invention further refers to a polyvinyl chloride article comprising said composition and having an amount of free acid less than 30 ppm, preferably less than 20 ppm. The present invention also refers to a method for analyzing the amount of free acid in a polyvinyl chloride sample.

The present invention refers to a polyvinyl chloride composition with high stability, said composition comprising: a) 100 phr (parts per hundred resin) of a polyvinyl chloride resin, b) 10-150 phr of pentaerythritol tetravalerate as plasticizer, said pentaerythritol tetravalerate having an acid value of less than 0.05 mg KOH/g and being obtained through esterification of valeric acid and high purity pentaerythritol having a purity of at least 98%, an ash content of less than 200 ppm and a dipentaerythritol content of 0.1-2 wt%, c) 0.3-14 phr of at least one stabilizer, and optionally d) at least one additive, wherein and the amount of free acid in the polyvinyl chloride composition is less than 30 ppm, preferably less than 20 ppm. The invention further refers to a polyvinyl chloride article comprising said composition and having an amount of free acid less than 30 ppm, preferably less than 20 ppm. The present invention also refers to a method for analyzing the amount of free acid in a polyvinyl chloride sample.
CURABLE SILOXANE COMPOSITIONS
There is provided herein a curable polysiloxane composition comprising a reactive polysiloxane having the general structural formula (I):

as described herein. There is provided a method of making the polysiloxane. In addition, there is provided a curable composition including the polysiloxane.
BINDER FOR INJECTION MOULDING COMPOSITION
A binder for an injection moulding composition, the binder includes, in percentage by mass and for a total of 100%: 35% to 60% of a component (a), or polymer base, made of a polymer or a mixture of polymers, each of the polymer being non-amphiphilic and having a mass average molar mass greater than or equal to 5,000 g/mol, 30% to 55% of a component (b), or wax, made of a polymer or a mixture of polymers, each of the polymer being non-amphiphilic and having a mass average molar mass less than 5,000 g/mol, and less than 10% of an amphiphilic component (c), or surfactant, and less than 10% of other components (d). The polymer base comprising 2% to 15% of a styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene copolymer (SEBS), in percentage by mass based on the mass of the binder.

SEALANT COMPOSITION
One-part condensation curable silyl-modified polymer (SMP) based sealant compositions in particular one-part condensation curable SMP based sealant compositions containing a catalyst comprising (i) a titanate and/or zirconate and (ii) a metal carboxylate salt which compositions upon cure provide elastomeric sealants having low modulus and a high elastic recovery.
THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION
A thermoplastic elastomer composition and method of making the thermoplastic elastomer are disclosed. The thermoplastic elastomer may comprise a polymer blend. The polymer bland may comprise a non-crosslinked elastomer, oil, polyethylene, and anti-oxidant. The oil may be from about 15 wt. % to about 50 wt. % oil. The polyethylene may be from about 3 wt. % to about 30 wt. %. The anti-oxidant may be from about 0 to about 0.5 wt. %.
THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION
A thermoplastic elastomer composition and method of making the thermoplastic elastomer are disclosed. The thermoplastic elastomer may comprise a polymer blend. The polymer bland may comprise a non-crosslinked elastomer, oil, polyethylene, and anti-oxidant. The oil may be from about 15 wt. % to about 50 wt. % oil. The polyethylene may be from about 3 wt. % to about 30 wt. %. The anti-oxidant may be from about 0 to about 0.5 wt. %.
THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING HIGH RIGIDITY AND LOW COEFFICIENT OF LINEAR THERMAL EXPANSION AND MOLDED ARTICLE COMPRISING SAME
The present disclosure provides a thermoplastic resin composition having high rigidity and a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and a molded article including the same. Specifically, the thermoplastic resin composition includes a first polypropylene resin having crystallinity of 50% to 80%, a second polypropylene resin having a coefficient of linear thermal expansion of 70 μm/m° C. to 90 μm/m° C., an elastomer, and an inorganic filler.

The present disclosure provides a thermoplastic resin composition having high rigidity and a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and a molded article including the same. Specifically, the thermoplastic resin composition includes a first polypropylene resin having crystallinity of 50% to 80%, a second polypropylene resin having a coefficient of linear thermal expansion of 70 μm/m° C. to 90 μm/m° C., an elastomer, and an inorganic filler.
