A disazo pigment according to the present invention has a polychlorinated biphenyl content of less than 15 ppm and a primary aromatic amine content of less than 700 ppm. Preferably, the disazo pigment is at least one selected from a group consisting of C.I. Pigment Yellow 83, C.I. Pigment Yellow 13, and Cl. Pigment Yellow 14.
