ELECTROPHORETIC PARTICLE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR AND APPLICATION THEREOF
20240409749 · 2024-12-12 ·

The present application relates to the technical field of electrophoretic particles, more particularly to an electrophoretic particle, a preparation method therefor, and an application thereof. The electrophoretic particle includes a shell layer and a core layer, which is wrapped in the shell layer. The core layer includes a plurality of core particles, and the density of the core particles is lower than a density of the shell layer. The structure of the plurality of the core particles makes the shell layer wrapping on surfaces of the plurality of the core particles form a folded structure, thus increasing a surface area of the core layer and improving the bonding tightness between the shell layer and the core layer, and making the shell layer of the resulting electrophoretic particle have relatively strong tightness.

The present invention relates to a silica particle dispersion including spherical silica particles and a solvent, in which the spherical silica particles have a median diameter d50 of 0.5 m to 20 m, and a product Ad50 of 2.7 m.Math.m.sup.2/g to 5.0 m.Math.m.sup.2/g, the product Ad50 being a product of a specific surface area A (m.sup.2/g) of the spherical silica particles and the median diameter d50 (m).

Chemical Additive Sand Washing

Methods and compositions utilize a sand obtained by combining a dirty sand with a chemical additive, where the combination decreases the water drain time through the sand compared to the sand without the chemical additive. The decrease of water drain time reduces the amount of time to dry the sand after a wash, and when using the sand for proppant, promotes conductivity of fluid through the sand when the sand is in a fracture of a subterranean formation.
