The inventors have discovered hot melt adhesive compositions that can be formulated to have a high percentage of environmentally conscious components and still provide performance over a broad temperature range.

The invention features a hot melt adhesive composition including from 5% by weight to 50% by weight of a styrene block copolymer, from 15% by weight to 75% by weight of a bio-based tackifying agent, and from 5% by weight to 40% by weight of an aliphatic plasticizer having a cyclo-aliphatic content of no greater than 1% by weight as tested by .sup.1H-NMR Spectroscopy, wherein said hot melt adhesive composition has an environmentally conscious component content of at least 50% by weight.

PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET, OPTICAL MEMBER, AND TOUCH PANEL

An object of the present invention is to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, an optical member, and a touch panel that enable a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to be formed, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer allowing the appearance of a display device and an input device to be unlikely to deteriorate even under low pressure conditions. The invention features a hot melt adhesive composition including from 5% by weight to 50% by weight of a thermoplastic polymer, from 10% by weight to 80% by weight of a bio-based tackifying agent, and from 2% by weight to 50% by weight of an environmentally conscious aliphatic plasticizer having a cyclo-aliphatic content of no more than 2% by weight as tested by .sup.1H-NMR Spectroscopy.

A multilayer film having enhanced toughness and optical properties is provided. The multilayer film includes a base layer, an outer layer, and a tie layer between the base layer and the outer layer. The protection tape provided by the present disclosure has the advantage of having resistant to corona treatment.

The content of the polymerization initiator is 0.1 to 10 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass as a total of the polymerizable ester and the adhesion promoter.
