COMPOSITION FOR FORMING EASY-TO-DETACH THIN RESIN FILM, AND EASY-TO-DETACH THIN RESIN FILM
The invention provides a composition for forming an easy-to-detach thin resin film, the composition being characterized by including a urethane (meth)acrylate compound, and a first polymerizable composition containing an ethylenic unsaturated monomer having a tert-butoxy group and a radical polymerization initiator, or a polymer of a second polymerizable composition containing the ethylenic unsaturated monomer having a tert-butoxy group, wherein the amount of the ethylenic unsaturated monomer having a tert-butoxy group is 5 mass % or more and less than 95 mass % with respect to the sum of the amount of the urethane (meth)acrylate compound and the total amount of the monomer(s) contained in the first polymerizable composition or the second polymerizable composition.
SURFACE PROTECTIVE FILM FOR OPTICAL MEMBER
The present invention provides a surface protective film which includes an adhesive layer on one surface of a substrate film, wherein the adhesive layer is a cured product of a composition containing: a urethane-based resin having a photoreactive group at the end or side chain thereof; a monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer; a crosslinking agent having two or more photoreactive groups at the end thereof; a peel strength adjusting agent; and a photoinitiator, the composition being solvent-free; and the adhesive layer has peel strength of 0.5 gf/in to 10 gf/in, as measured on glass at a peel angle of 180° and a peel rate of 1.8 m/min.
ADHESIVE FOR BONDING DISSIMILAR MATERIALS IN MEDICAL DEVICE
Bonding dissimilar materials of medical device components can be carried out by applying an adhesive on at least one surface of two components which are composed of dissimilar materials and contacting the surfaces and exposing the contacted surfaces to heat and/or irradiate the adhesive to cure the adhesive and bond the surfaces. One medical component, e.g., medical tubing, can be composed of a non-polar, polyvinyl chloride free thermoplastic polymeric material and the other medical component, e.g., a medical connector, can be composed of polyacrylate, polyacrylonitrile, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), methyl methacrylate-acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (mABS), polyester, and/or a polycarbonate material. The adhesive formulation can include: (a) a polyolefin oligomer having reactive acrylate groups and alkenyl groups, (b) an initiator, and optionally (c) a solvent.
2K PU-DUAL CURE ADHESIVE FOR LAMINATION
Disclosed herein are a two-component polyurethane adhesive and a dual cure polyurethane-based adhesive for use in laminated films. The adhesives are particularly useful for producing photochromic and clear-to-polarized laminates for ophthalmic lens applications.
UV OR EB CURABLE MULTIFUNCTIONAL TALL OIL (METH)ACRYLATES
Presently described are energy-curable resins, compositions, thermosets, coatings, and methods thereof. The curable resins described herein are (meth)acrylated resins derived from distilled tall oil rosin acids, distilled tall oil fatty acids, or a combination thereof. The curable resins can also include derivatives from rosin acids and/or fatty acids, such as cycloaddition products. The curable compositions undergo fast curing using UV and/or EB and provide enhanced performance of coatings, films, and printing inks, especially adhesion, stability and flexibility.
BONDED BODY OF METAL AND RESIN, AND METHOD FOR BONDING METAL AND RESIN
To provide a bonding technique that is capable of bonding a metal and a resin with a sufficient bonding strength. A bonded article including a functional group-carrying metal surface and a functional group-carrying resin surface, which are bonded directly to each other, the functional group-carrying metal surface having one or more kind of a functional group selected from the group consisting of an amino group, an epoxy group, a mercapto group, a styryl group, a (meth)acryloyl group, an isocyanato group, and an alkenyl group, on a surface of a metal, the functional group-carrying resin surface having one or more kind of a functional group selected from the group consisting of an amino group, an epoxy group, a mercapto group, a styryl group, a (meth)acryloyl group, an isocyanato group, and an alkenyl group, on a surface of a resin.
