The present disclosure relates to adhesives useful in preventing drifting during lamination of light redirecting films applied to photovoltaic cells. The adhesives of the present disclosure have other useful applications in bonding and/or affixing other solar energy components.
TRANSPARENT, ANTI-FOG TAPE OR FILM AND RELATED DEVICES AND METHODS
The present disclosure generally relates to a stretchable anti-fogging tape (SAT) that can be applied to diverse transparent materials with varied curvatures for persistent fogging prevention. The SAT comprises three synergistically-combined transparent layers: i) a stretchable middle layer with high elastic recovery to keep transparent materials tightly bound; ii) an anti-fogging top layer to impart hydrophilicity to transparent materials; and iii) an adhesive bottom layer to form robust yet reversible adhesion between transparent materials and SATs. The SAT can be configured to have water condensate form a predominantly continuous film thereon in response to a high humidity environment At least two applications are demonstrated, including the SAT-adhered eyeglasses and goggles for clear fog-free vision, and the SAT-adhered condensation cover for efficient solar-powered freshwater production.

Disclosed are an adhesive film, an anti-PID encapsulation adhesive film, a composition forming the adhesive film, and a photovoltaic module and laminated glass. The composition includes: an ethylene copolymer matrix resin, an amide organic compound, a metal oxide and/or metal hydroxide, the metal oxide is selected from one or more of the components aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, zinc oxide, banum oxide, magnesium oxide, zirconium oxide, titanium oxide, tin oxide, vanadium oxide, antimony oxide, tantalum oxide, niobium oxide, layered transition metal oxide, or ZnO-doped Al.sub.2O.sub.3, CaO/SiO.sub.2-doped Al.sub.2O.sub.3, MgO-doped Al.sub.2O.sub.3, SiO.sub.2-doped ZrO.sub.2, and TiO.sub.2-doped ZrO.sub.2, and the metal hydroxide is selected from one or more of the components calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, zinc hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, iron hydroxide and barium hydroxide. Alternatively, the composition includes: a matrix resin, a metal ion trapping agent and an organic co-crosslinker. The adhesive film has a better anti-PID effect, photoelectric conversion efficiency and encapsulation performance.
Adhesive sheet and transparent electrode comprising the same
The present invention relates to an adhesive sheet. As the adhesive sheet of one embodiment of the present invention retains the properties of conventional adhesive sheet, such as excellent adhesion and durability in high temperature and humidity environment, it can be utilized for manufacturing large-scale electrodes at low prices, and the electrodes manufactured above can be used for various applications such as solar cell, display, and touch panel.

Edge-Protection Tape
A self-adhesive edge-protection tape is intended to improve the protective effect for glass edges. This is achieved by providing an adhesive tape which comprises, in sequence directed towards the substrate to be covered, a backing layer (hard phase) and a soft phase comprising a polymer foam, a viscoelastic composition and/or an elastomeric composition, where the thickness of the hard phase is ≦150 μm, the thickness of the soft phase is ≧200 μm and the ratio of the thickness of the soft phase to the thickness of the hard phase is ≧4. The invention also relates to a solar module which comprises an adhesive tape according to the invention adhesive-bonded around at least one portion of the edges thereof, and the use of the claimed adhesive tape for the protection of edges of a solar module.
Adhesive film, composition for forming same and electronic device
Provided are an adhesive film, a composition for forming the same and an electronic device. The composition includes: a thermoplastic polymeric resin and an antistatic agent, the antistatic agent is an amide organic compound represented by Formula (I). The above antistatic agent contains a strong-polarity amide group and an optional polar group. The amide group may form an intramolecular hydrogen bond, which has a shorter bond length, and a dipole electric field generated by positive and negative ions formed after ionization is strong and a voltage generated by an external electrostatic field may be counteracted, such that the antistatic agent has a better antistatic property. The optional polar group may improve the above antistatic property: The thermoplastic polymeric resin has good thermal processability, and after it and the antistatic agent are subjected to melt extrusion, the adhesive film with the better antistatic property and processability may be formed.
