COATING MATERIAL AND LAMINATE

The present invention relates to a coating material containing a resin component and at least one kind of oil component P, in which the oil component P can exude out from a cured or dried coating film layer to which the coating material has been applied when a temperature drops to a predetermined value or less, a wetting parameter is 0.5 (J/cm.sup.3).sup.1/2 or less, and a gel fraction of the coating film layer is 30% or more.

Solvent free textile coating

The description relates to solvent free films and textiles that receive the solvent free films.

The present invention relates to a coating material containing a resin component, a first oil component, and a second oil component, in which the second oil component exudes out from a cured or dried coating film layer to which the coating material has been applied when a temperature drops to a predetermined value or less, and the first oil component satisfies at least one of (1) kinematic viscosity at 25° C. of 300 cSt or more or (2) viscosity at 20° C. of 0.1 Pa.Math.s or more.

Magnetic flooring system adhesive composition

A liquid adhesive coating composition that cures into a solid form, used to non-permanently adhere interior floor or wall coverings to substrate floor or wall surfaces respectively, includes a polymer incorporating iron or other paramagnetic, superparamagnetic, ferromagnetic, or ferrimagnetic ingredients, that becomes permanently adhered to the substrate as it cures, and thereafter provides a low-tack adhesive surface that is also magnetically attractive, upon which magnetized floor or wall coverings including certain types of carpet, linoleum, vinyl, wallpaper, and other types of magnetically-backed coverings can be subsequently installed. The combined low-tack adhesive and magnetic adhesion qualities of the cured composition of the invention allow for the magnetically-backed floor or wall coverings to be sufficiently well adhered to the surface of the cured adhesive composition to remain in place during normal usage while retaining the ability for the coverings to be subsequently removed, repositioned or replaced without damaging the respective coverings, adhesive coating composition layer, or substrate.

Sealant Layer Assembly

A sealant layer assembly which allows a sealant layer to be applied on a tire outside of tire production plants. The assembly comprises a sealant layer to be applied on the surface of an inner liner layer facing the inner cavity of a tire, a net layer arranged on a first surface of the sealant layer, and at least one non-stick protective layer arranged either on a second surface of the sealant layer opposite the first surface or on the net layer.

Modification of Asphalt Adhesives with Waxes
20200172779 · 2020-06-04 ·

Wax-modified asphalt can be employed in peel-and-stick sheets. In some embodiments, the method includes adding a wax to an asphalt blend. The addition of wax can result in an asphalt having lower viscosity, higher softening point, improved compatibility, and/or stronger adhesion properties. These changes can be achieved in addition to maintaining both low and high temperature stability of the asphalt adhesive. In some embodiments, the wax is made from a recycled plastic.
