The present invention relates to an organic light-emitting diode exhibiting high efficiency and longevity. The organic light-emitting diode comprises: a first electrode; a second electrode facing the first electrode; and a light-emitting layer interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein the light-emitting layer contains at least one of the amine compounds represented by Chemical Formula A or Chemical Formula B and at least one of the compounds represented by Chemical Formulas H1 to H7, Chemical Formulas A, B, and H1 to H7 being the same as in the specification.
Method for preparing dioxyheterocycle-based electrochromic polymers
A method for preparing a conjugated polymer involves a DHAP polymerization of a 3,4-dioxythiophene, 3,4-dioxyfuran, or 3,4-dioxypyrrole and, optionally, at least one second conjugated monomer in the presence of a Pd or Ni comprising catalyst, an aprotic solvent, a carboxylic acid at a temperature in excess of 120° C. At least one of the monomers is substituted with hydrogen reactive functionalities and at least one of the monomers is substituted with a Cl, Br, and/or I. The polymerization can be carried out at temperature of 140° C. or more, and the DHAP polymerization can be carried out without a phosphine ligand or a phase transfer agent. The resulting polymer can display dispersity less than 2 and have a degree of polymerization in excess of 10.

A conjugated light-emitting polymer comprising a host repeat unit and an intermediate repeat unit in a backbone of the conjugated light emitting polymer, and an emissive unit. The host repeat unit has a wider band gap than the intermediate unit. The intermediate repeat unit has a wider band gap than the emissive unit. The emissive unit is either: an emissive repeat unit of a block copolymer wherein the block copolymer comprises a first block comprising the intermediate repeat unit and the emissive repeat unit and a second block comprising the host repeat unit; a substituent of a proportion of the host repeat units and at least some of the host repeat units substituted with an emissive unit are arranged directly adjacent to an intermediate repeat unit; a substituent of a proportion of the intermediate repeat units; or a repeat unit in the backbone of the conjugated polymer and is arranged directly adjacent to the intermediate repeat unit. The conjugated light-emitting polymer may be part of a light-emitting marker for detecting the presence of a target analyte in a sample.
