THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
In one aspect, thermal energy storage compositions are described herein. In some embodiments, a composition comprises 0.5-10 wt. % polysaccharide and 88-99.5 wt. % water, wherein the weight percentages are based on the total weight of the composition. Moreover, in some cases, the composition is shape stable at 20° C. and 1 atm.
Method of forming phase change material
A method to form a phase change material (PCM). The method includes preparing a polymer solution by mixing an amount of a polymer in a solvent and mixing the polymer solution with an UiO-66 metal-organic framework (MOF) to form a composite. The polymer is a polyethylene glycol (PEG). The method further includes subjecting the composite to ultrasonic agitation and evaporating the solvent from the composite to form the PCM. After the evaporation of the solvent, particles of the PCM exhibit rounded octahedral structures.

Coolant for cooling systems in electric vehicles having fuel cells and/or batteries containing azole derivatives and additional corrosion protectants
Coolants based on alkylene glycols or derivatives thereof are useful for cooling systems in electric vehicles having fuel cells and/or batteries, preferably for motor vehicles, particularly preferably for passenger cars and commercial vehicles (known as light and heavy duty vehicles). The coolants contain additional corrosion inhibitors for improved corrosion protection in addition to specific azole derivatives.

Long term stable boron nitride nanotube aqueous dispersions
Boron nitride nanotube (BNNT) dispersions and methods of fabricating the same are provided. Tip sonication-assisted hydrolysis can be utilized, with a dispersant/surfactant (e.g., polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)). The fabrication process can be used to obtain large scale BNNT dispersions with long term stability (e.g., stability for at least 3 months, at least 4 months, at least 5 months, at least 6 months, or about 6 months).

Heat-transfer fluid with low conductivity comprising an amide inhibitor, methods for its preparation and uses thereof
The present invention relates to heat-transfer fluids with low conductivity which comprise a base fluid and at least one aliphatic carboxamide and are useful for diverse applications, for example in fuel cells. it was found that aliphatic carboxamides significantly outperform aromatic carboxamides with regard to maintaining low conductivity upon aging at increased temperatures. Furthermore, it was surprisingly found that the compositions in accordance with the invention are capable of maintaining this low electrical conductivity upon aging at increased temperatures in the presence of aluminum substrates.
