Chemical products for adhesive applications
The embodiments described herein generally relate to methods and chemical compositions for coating substrates with a composition. In one embodiment, an adhesive composition is provided comprising a reaction product of a polyacid selected from the group consisting of an aromatic polyacid, an aliphatic polyacid, an aliphatic polyacid with an aromatic group, and combinations thereof, or a diglycidyl ether; and a polyamine; and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a branched aliphatic acid, a cyclic aliphatic acid with a cyclic aliphatic group, a linear aliphatic, and combinations thereof. The adhesive composition may be used to cover a substrate.

Chemical products for adhesive applications
The embodiments described herein generally relate to methods and chemical compositions for fracturing fluid applications. In one embodiment, a fracturing fluid composition is provided comprising a fracturing fluid and an additive composition including a reaction product of a diglycidyl ether or a polyacid selected from the group consisting of an aromatic polyacid, an aliphatic polyacid, an aliphatic polyacid with an aromatic group, and combinations thereof; and a polyamine; and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a branched aliphatic acid, a cyclic aliphatic acid with a cyclic aliphatic group, a linear aliphatic, and combinations thereof.
Sand consolidation with a curable resin and filtercake removal fluid
Sand consolidation for a subterranean formation can be achieved by adding a curable resin to a drilling fluid. The curable resin can be a furan- or epoxy- or silane-based resin. The drilling fluid can form a filtercake on a wellbore wall. A filtercake-removal fluid can provide a dual function to remove the filtercake and cure the curable resin, which consolidates formation particles. A curing agent can also be included in the filtercake-removal fluid. Sand consolidation can also be achieved by adding the curable resin to the filtercake-removal fluid. The resin can penetrate into the formation as the filtercake is being removed and then cure.

SPHERICAL HIGH TEMPERATURE HIGH CLOSURE TOLERANT CASHEW NUT SHELL LIQUID BASED PROPPANT, METHODS OF MANUFACTURE, AND USES THEREOF
A method of fracturing a subterranean formation comprises introducing into the formation at a pressure sufficient to create or enlarge a fracture in the formation a fracturing composition comprising a carrier and a substantially spherical polymeric particulate derived from a cashew nut shell liquid, the substantially spherical polymeric particulate having an apparent specific gravity of less than about 2.4.
METHODS OF USING LIGHTWEIGHT POLYMERS DERIVED FROM CASHEW NUT SHELL LIQUID IN HYDRAULIC FRACTURING AND SAND CONTROL OPERATIONS
A method of fracturing a subterranean formation comprises introducing into the formation at a pressure sufficient to create or enlarge a fracture in the formation a fracturing composition comprising a carrier and a polymeric particulate derived from a cashew nut shell liquid, the polymeric particulate having an apparent specific gravity of less than about 2.4.
Methods and Materials for Improving Wellbore Stability in Laminated Tight Carbonate Source-Rock Formations
The stability of subterranean, laminated, carbonate-containing formations that have strongly hydrophilic-wet surfaces is improved by introducing into the formation an aqueous fluid having dispersed therein relative permeability modifiers (RPMs). The RPMs are designed to enter the fractures and gaps between the layers in the formation and alter their surface wettability to inhibit water from further entering into the shale rock, thereby improving stability.
ACTIVATORS FOR INORGANIC OXIDE BREAKERS
A gel breaking system comprising a source of hydrogen peroxide and an activator selected from the group consisting of triazine-based activators, phthalimide-based activators and mixtures thereof are provided. Also, described are methods of using the gel breaking system to break the gelled component of a treatment fluid used in a gravel packing operation for a well.
Multi-component solid epoxy proppant binder resins
Methods and materials for sand control in water injection sites are disclosed. Proppant particles may be coated with some particles coated with a solid epoxy and other proppant particles coated with a solid epoxy curative (such as amine, hydroxyl, carboxyl, anhydride) that would bind the particles through an epoxy reaction. The invention may be advantageous for forming underground structures useful in the extraction of hydrocarbons.
