NITRATES OF ETHERS OF GLYCEROL AND ETHANOL AS DIESEL CETANE IMPROVERS AND THE PRODUCTION PROCESS OF THE SAME
The present invention is related to the use of nitrates of ethers of glycerol and ethanol as diesel cetane improvers, and the production process of the same, aiming at producing an additive from glycerol from biodiesel production and bringing to the additive market an option more economical and efficient to facilitate the ignition of diesel and improve the cetane number of said fuel.
USE OF A FUEL COMPOSITION COMPRISING THREE ADDITIVES FOR CLEANING THE INTERNAL PARTS OF PETROL ENGINES
The present invention relates to the use, for reducing deposits in the internal parts of a spark ignition engine, of a fuel composition comprising at least three additives: a quaternary ammonium salt, a non-quaternary polyisobutylene succinimide and a Mannich base which is different from the other additives. The composition is such that the mass ratio of the quantity of the first additive to the quantity of the second additive is in the range from 0.2:1 to 2.5:1.
Method for manufacturing a fuel component
Methods are disclosed for manufacturing and using diesel fuel components having a cetane number improver and a renewable fuel component manufactured by hydrotreating and isomerising renewable raw material.
DIESEL FUEL COMPOSITION AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DIESEL FUEL COMPOSITION
The invention discloses methods for manufacturing and using a diesel fuel composition comprising a cetane number improver, a fossil fuel component, and a hydrotreated renewable fuel component manufactured by hydrotreating and isomerising renewable raw material.
HYDROCARBON FUNCTIONALIZED CARBON-BASED NANOMATERIAL AND METHOD
A fuel mixture includes a fuel, ethanol, and modified graphene oxide (mGO) nanoparticles functionalized with a hydrocarbon. The mGO is less than 1000 ppm of the ethanol, and a blend of the ethanol and the mGO is less than 10% of the fuel mixture.
HYGROSCOPIC FUEL BLENDS AND PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING SAME
A synthetic fuel is provided. The synthetic fuel includes a base fuel having a first energy density and a compound, the compound including a water absorbing agent for absorbing water from the base fuel to prevent poor combustion and an explosive agent having a detonative energy value that is sufficient so as to provide the compound with a second energy density equal to or greater than the first energy density.
Universal synthetic lubricant, method and product-by-process to replace the lost sulfur lubrication when using low-sulfur diesel fuels
A diesel fuel lubricant as a replacement for sulfur lubrication in Ultra-Low and Low Sulfur Diesel fuels, the process for producing said lubricant, and the method of using said lubricant. This lubricant comprises alpha-olefins; low odor aromatic solvents; and at least one a base oil selected from the base oil group consisting of hydroisomerized high base oils and HT Severe Hydro-cracked Base Oils; as well as other ingredients. Also disclosed is a method for producing this lubricant.
Systems and Methods For Manufacturing Emulsified Fuel
Methods and systems for manufacturing emulsified fuel include: adding surfactant to fuel; blending the surfactant and fuel together in a first mixing chamber for a first mixing period; subjecting the blended surfactant and fuel mixture to a dwell period following the first mixing period; introducing water into the blended surfactant and fuel mixture following the dwell period; and blending the surfactant, fuel and water together in a second mixing chamber for a second mixing period. The surfactant is selected to exhibit an HLB rating in the range of 8.75 to 8.83.
ENHANCED FUEL AND METHOD OF PRODUCING ENHANCED FUEL FOR OPERATING INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An enhanced fuel, a method of producing such enhanced fuel, and method of using such enhanced fuel for operating internal combustion engine. The fuel includes a mixture of at least one alcohol, water and ammonium nitrate (AN) as a cetane enhancer. The water is included in a quantity which renders the ammonium nitrate dissolved in the at least one alcohol. The fuel further contains dimethylether as an ignition-improver additive, at least one lubricity agent and at least one anti-corrosion agent.
UNIVERSAL ADDITIVE
A universal additive for fuel and lubricants contains C2-C4 alcohols, carbamide, boric acid, acrylic compounds, and water. The additive allows for more complete combustion of liquid and solid fuels, as well as reduced fuel consumption and fewer harmful emissions. In lubricating oil compositions, the additive reduces wear on the friction surfaces of engines, and also reduces fuel consumption.
